Isn't the sacrifice of Jesus as high priest over and done with?

I was told by a non catholic that the book of Hebrews describes Jesus as ‘sitting at the right hand of he Father’, implying that His work as high priest and offering sacrifice is finished, further implying that the sacrifice of the Mass is therefore not only unnecessary , but anti-biblical as well.How so I respond directly from this passage?

Dear asthmaticus,

The Lord’s passion transcends time. It applies to all who came before, were present then, and who came after. The Mass is that reality present to us on the altar under the appearance of bread and wine. It is not a new sacrifice; it is the SAME sacrifice, made available to us in a most personal way. It was intitiuted by the Lord and received by the the Catholic Church. For two thousand years the Catholic Church has been faithful to His directive to “do this in memoreoy of me,”
