Isn't the teaching on becoming one with your God. a teaching and belief . that if you eat him you will change your DNA?

Isn’t the teaching on becoming one with your God an ancient belief? And if you eat him you will change your DNA?

Becoming one with God means understanding that the life within you is not of your own doing, but that of God.

God dwells within each human being by the mere fact that they have life.

Jn 6:53 “Unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life.” The Jews who heard this said, Jn 6:60 “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”

Which parts of the Bible can you take literally and which parts can you ignore? Jesus’ own words on this subject are enough for me.

It depends on what you mean by become one, but yes.

And it doesn’t change our DNA…
