  1. The Palestinians should have their own self-governed territory/country.
  2. Israel is entitled to live without enduring rocket attacks.
  3. Hamas is incapable of negotiating a lasting peace on behalf of the Palestinians.
  4. Getting more powerful and longer range rockets will only get easier for Hamas.
  5. World opinion is unlikely to be squarely in favor of Israel no matter what happens.
Any other uncontested facts?

Heavy handed military attacks entice more extremism. But then, they are bombing Israel.
I can see Hamas’ support growing, and the moderate pro-palestinians being called traitors etc.
 
I am with you Valke, there will be more consequences with Hamas if they do not cease to stop. They are very stubborn people who don’t care what happens to their own people.
We Christians are already in a Holy war against Muslims whether you realize it or not, Jews will stand with Christians against Muslims. Just like the bible says so.
Islam will NEVER prevail…

so long as hamas keeps loud its slogan “wipe out israel from the face … …”, peace between them is impossible. israel’s right to exist justifies their actions to defend themselves against their attackers. i hope they don’t let down until all hamas leaders are totally subdued and abbas take full control,:mad:.

At least in the world of arab opinion, Hamas’ reputation seems to have risen at the expense of the PA’s reputation.

I feel bad for the Palestinians, but they are relentless in their quest to destroy Israel. What do you do then? How would you feel if all the Catholic sites of Israel (church of the Holy Sepluchre etc…) were destroyed?

It would be a travesty. Not every palestinian supports Hamas. Not everyone in gaza supports Hamas. But heavy handed military action on the part of Israel will only increase Hamas support among the moderates.

At past we saw that most of the people of palestine(including moderate) voted Hamas.So it is clear that Hamas or other terrorist groups are always favorite in muslim countries.It is a disaster for the world.9 January i saw a horrible news in a native news channel in Bangladesh that after Friday prayer,Muslims are burning the coffin of Israeli prime minister and Israeli flag.And some people were saying that, Why muslim military is silent,our(those peoples) request to Muslim military(Arab and other muslim countries)should work as unit, and they(muslims military) should annihilate Jews and israel forever,so that the muslims can live in peace…Now think how horrible comments!Even in my moderate muslim country bangladeshi peoples also want to wipe off Israel and want to annihilate Jews!!So what about Hamas?I always believe that the military action of Israel is legal,and it is important for the safety of Israel.And if Israel will not take any action against hamas,then I don’t think that support for hamas will decrease.And what Israel had to do?Hamas will repeatedly attack but Israel had to silent?I do not think so brother.I believe that Israel took the right decision and she is just defending herself.Ya I have sympathy for Palestine children who are dying,but personally I believe that sometimes,military operation is very important for the safety of Israel.I read many Anti Semitic history,and unfortunately this world is always too much cruel for Jewish nation:( .Finally I want to say, I am with Israel and Israeli.

  1. Muslims will keep fighting Israel no matter what (physically & spiritually) because its in the Islamic dogma.
  2. Muslims will keep claiming that Palestine is a Muslims land which is under occupation by Israel.
  3. Zechariah 12:9-10 must be fulfilled: “And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
 
I am wondering if Jews or some Jews relate what is going on in Gaza to Biblical prophecies.
