Israel, UAE reach historic US-brokered peace deal

Israel and the United Arab Emirates reached a historic peace deal on Thursday that will lead to a full normalization of diplomatic relations between the two Middle Eastern nations in an agreement that US President Donald Trump helped broker.

Under the agreement, Israel has agreed to suspend applying sovereignty to areas of the West Bank that it has been discussing annexing, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed confirmed on Twitter.

“During a call with President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, an agreement was reached to stop further Israeli annexation of Palestinian territories. The UAE and Israel also agreed to cooperation and setting a roadmap towards establishing a bilateral relationship,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed tweeted.
This is big world news, one might see UAE itself being a small nation; but this could lead to Saudi Arabia eventually going the same route and that would be a big deal in trying to reach Middle Eastern peace.

Trump deserves credit for this promising deal, and so does his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who brokered it. The Palestinians may be opposed, as well as Iran, for sure, and Turkey, but it is really the start of something good, I believe.

Clearly the Most important step towards peace in the Middle East in 26 years.
This is Nobel Peace Prize work.

Great work but the main media does not even discuss it. It’s all Kamala.

News is Turkey is thinking of breaking off relations with UAE, recalling their ambassador… Palestinians don’t like it.

My news sources did cover this pretty amply, MIddle East news but I do have to say some of the MSM in the US gave Trump some credit. Because it is big news, I saw NY Times, they covered it.
