It’s that time of year again!

My parents used to live not too far from one. The only time I ever went to one, though, was in Switzerland. I still have the bag that I needed to buy to carry the groceries chocolate and have continued using it since.

I purchase a large bag of chocolate Halloween candy every year. I put it in the trunk of my car and let it melt into a large mass. Then, during the cold winter I chip pieces of the frozen blob and eat them 😮

By all means, let’s race through our lives!

I kid you not, a couple years ago I went to Big Lots on Christmas Eve to pick up a last-minute thingy and the employees were clearing out Christmas items and putting up Valentine’s Day items. I am not lying.

I’ve seen numerous references to pumpkin spice stuff today.

That can mean only one thing: it’s time for me to call my local tea shop and see if they have pumpkin spice tea in stock yet.

I can’t ever find Halloween candy in the stores after Halloween.

I’ve tried saving Halloween candy. My husband and kids find it. Once my husband threw a whole bunch out because he thought it was “old”. 😳

Valentines day as well. In the afternoon of February 13, there’s nothing left except the cheapie chocolates.
It’s out there. 🙂

The key is to get to the stores really early when they open the day after any holidays, if you want to get the discounted candies.

You might still find the selections rather “picked-over,” but I still think that you can find some good bargains.

Ooh, I actually loved the pop tarts. 😬
But yeah, sometimes…it just doesn’t taste right. And the amount of products available…Pumpkin spiced Frosted Flakes? Nope, not trying that.
I love pumpkin pie, so I’m up for trying anything pumpkin-flavored.

However, I’ve had some “duds” as far as some products go, that I wouldn’t try again.

One of them was pumpkin-flavored frozen waffles. They hardly had any pumpkin flavor to them. Another was pumpkin-flavored bagels.

The pumpkin-flavored Cheerios cereal is good, if you like flavored Cheerios.

Those are out in the store now. They have a nice flavor to them. They’re mild. Not over-powering, either. 🙂

And the answer is … yes, they do! Think I might stop by there for lunch tomorrow (they also serve food).

I could see that working or at least working better than having a plain bagel with pumpkin-flavored cream cheese.
Yes.

For some reason though, the brand that I had at the time, just missed the mark. I’m always willing to try something different. I love different seasonal products.

I also love anything with cranberries in it, that also seems to come out at this time of year, like cranberry beverages and cereals and cranberry-pumpkin loaves and muffins, and so on.

My mom used to drink cranberry juice that had no added sugar. I personally couldn’t stand it, and it still makes me a little wary of seeing “cranberry” as a flavor in juice even though I generally love it when there is some sweet to balance out the tart.

I like cranberry sweetened with another juice. I don’t drink much juice though.
