From my humble point of view, it appears that God is not in a hurry.
Do you mean in a hurry for the second coming of Jesus? Or the first coming of the Messiah? Or patient regarding individuals’ and the world’s atonement for their sins? Or not in a hurry with respect to answering people’s prayers? From my humble point of view, it appears that God is not in a hurry.
Why should he be? He knows where we’re going. Besides, he may be enjoying a cup of coffee. He has all the time he needs. In a hurry for what?
With regard to answering prayers, I would say that maybe G-d is giving you more time to think things through and reconsider what it is you really want and whether that is something which will help you or not, or which you only think you need at the moment. Patience is often a virtue. Further, sometimes G-d answers our prayers even though we don’t realize it until much later. And other times, G-d says “no,” because G-d knows that answer is for our own long-term benefit. All of the above.
But mostly that God seems to answer my prayers. Always. Just on a much longer time scale then I had anticipated.
