HagiaSophia:
Motor neurone disease sufferer Willie Terpstra, who went to China this year seeking a miracle cure, is now unable to talk.

Neither can she eat properly, with food having to be forced into her stomach through a tube, and sleep is becoming increasingly difficult for her.

She is dying after radical and controversial surgery which involved two million cells taken from the noses of aborted fetuses injected into her brain on March 23 under local anaesthetic.

ega:
Nonsense. Palpable nonsense.

Abortion has been practised for centuries and demand for this predates fetal or embryonic research by such a magnitude that one hjas to ask why you have made such an obviously false statement.

Whatever ones feelings about stem-cell research, the fact is women are not having abortions to supply researcher, they are having abortions because they do not want, for whatever reason, the child.
Ega:

Just which one of these societies know what we know about DNA? Which one of these societies had the means to look inside the uterus and to see the Baby as he or she developed? Just which one of these had the means to measure fetal heartrate? or, Fetal Brainwave activity?

Ega, the answer is NONE. NONE of them had the scientific evidence which supported what our JudeoChiritian religion and the Bible tells us, the the Fetus is a Human being, and that the only differences between you and the fetus are development and GEOGRAPHY!

And, Ega, since when have we decided that it was enlightened opinion to determine someone’s humanity on the basis of his or her geography.

And, these societies were never given the false promise of Fetal Stem Cell Research. That’s something that only modern societies have had as an option. The societies you’re talking about never had someone say that they could harvest special cells from slaughtered fetuses.

Ega, I dare you to look at the Aborted Fetuses at priests for life and thoroughly read the rest here and not conclude that abortion kills human beings:

Ega, Once you’ve seen that, you’ll see the need for a JUSTIFICATION that people in the societies you’re talking about didn’t have, but that people performing and promoting Abortion in our society desperately need.

The societies you’re talking about never had the concept of the SACREDNESS of Human Life - They never saw Human Life as coming from God as his gift to the world and something which he paid so dearly to REDEEM! That’s why people were burried alive with their Pharoah’s, deformed babies placed on hillsides to die, young daughters immolated in fires to Molech and slaves sent to die in the arena for the amusement of the crowds in the stands.

Do you want to go back to all that? Is this the “Enlightened” world you seek?

Just so you know - It was that “Enlightened” world that gladly accepted Abortion and crucified slaves and Christians side by side…

I’m sorry, but most of us prefer the world of the Kingdom of god, where all of these things were to be outlawed and we were to be called to be better than that.

In Christ, Michael

There is, however, a disparity. i think 129 boys are born per 100 girls, so women still have a choice.

I do agree, however, it is a dreadful, dreadful thing and an unspeakable blot on humanity. I consider it a matter of shame we deal with China.
Ega:

Given China’s record on Human rights and Environmental and Economic Issues (Slave Labor, Accounting and Legal Practices), I can’t agree with you more, esp. with the granting of MFN Status, and the fact that several companies have moved their production facilities from America to china.

I think that it may not only turn out to be immoral, but stupid.

Given Chinese acounting and legal practices, expect some American and European business people to lose their shirts when the time comes, and expect them to scream, “Bloody Murder!” to no avail.

Blessed are they who act to save God’s Little Ones, Michael
