It has been almost two years!

**I just looked at my wedding ticker and it says 20 months! :eek: Our second anniversary is coming up in February. I just cannot believe that hubby and I have been married almost two years.:eek: It seems like the wedding was just a few months ago, and that we are still newlyweds. I can’t believe that I have gotten to spend nearly two whole years living with my best friend. 😃 What a blessing! :heaven:

Yeah, I know how you feel! We’re on our 5th year (5th anniversary next May 31). What date is your anniversary? I met my DH on Feb. 12, 1999 😃

**Feb 18, 2006 is our anniversary. We picked that for a very special reason. We first met just one year earlier on February 18, 2005. We were so elated that the day we met fell on a Saturday we couldn’t pass it up. It was also the last week before Lent that year. If we passed it up then, the Church wasn’t free until nearly July! It just worked out so perfectly. 👍

We just had our first anniversary on September 30th - it was amazing to think that a year had gone by already!! We have been so busy and so happy, and so busy being happy, that we hardly noticed the time just fly by. 😃

If this is how fast life flies when you are happy - man, I really need to start paying more attention or it will all be over before I know it! 😉

Wow, freaky! I was just posting on the pregnant or not thread about your anniversary being 1 month away from mine!! :eek: Actually, it IS 1 month exactly. I married DH in March 18, 2006.

Time passes by so fast huh? I still feel as a newlywed too.

😃 Congratulations!! What’s sad is that DH and I didn’t even get to celebrate our 1st. He was hospitalized after he almost cut off his hand at work. 😦 He was in the hospital for 5 days and our anniversary landed in the middle of those 5.

That sounds like my husband. He got sick for our WEDDING! He was sick our whole first weekend together! Then we had to pack that very week and move south. That was our first, unforgettable week together. We called it our honey"move". You would have thought our marriage would be a total disaster after that first week, but, it’s been the best 20 months of my life!❤️

That’s sooo funny! We went to Lake Tahoe for 2 days, 1 night, and when we came back, it was Monday night. He was sick as a dog, and was sick all week long with a high fever, cough, etc… our first wk together… 😃 poor guy. I guess the snow wasn’t too good of an idea for a mini-honeymoon. 😛

Changing the subject a little… Does your DH cook?

YES! Not gourmet or anything, but definitely more than the average guy! 👍😃
