It Is Minus 5 degrees on the Streets of Chicago.

Poor homeless Americans are freezing because no one is stopping the invasion of freeloaders from south of the border.

The invaders are safe and warm and living on the funds meant for poor homeless Americans.

Catholic funds have helped organizations that support only these people and not American poor or anyone else.

Open your eyes and look at poor America. What color is it? These are loyal Americans that are dying because the Catholic Church supports and encourages the invasion of their country by a group who has done little to return the aid that has been given them for decades.

Demand that the Catholic Church account to the American Catholic on how they use contributions and who those contributions help.

Demand that the Catholic Church stop collaborating with those who seek to divide and destroy America by forcing themselves into this country.

Feed Americans first!

Clothe Americans first!

House Americans first!

Employ Americans first!

Dress the wounds of Americans first!

Remember those who fought for your country first because they placed you above all others.

several of my relatives and colleagues work for Catholic organizations serving the poor and homeless in Chicago and this statement is an outright lie. You did exactly what for the homeless today?

You’re posting in the social justice forum; perhaps there is someone here who could tell you exactly what Catholic Social Teaching means, but I am not he (the words escape me now). However, I can assure you that the Catholic Church does not teach, “America is the best! America is God’s Chosen Land! Put America First!”

I am Roman Catholic first and an American second. The Catholic Church does help Americans as well as others.
We are a Universal Church. Not an American Church.

But the Catholic Church is slowly becoming the Church of Latin America. I can’t believe the Catholic Church would allow Aztec worship on the Altar of God. I have seen nuns brought to tears over this. Don’t tell me they don’t this. I’ve seen this with my own eyes!

I am also investigating the allegations of other post through government agencies.

It is unlawful to use a religious organization for profit of a group especially one that promotes illegal immigration.

No offense but I’m going to need more proof. Aztec worship on the Altar of God? What are you talking about anyways? Are you talking about St. Joseph’s Church in Aztec New Mexico?

What makes you think we promote illegal immigration? What makes you think we profit monetarily from this? I’m not sure how being compassionate to a person because they are homeless and starving is supporting anything illegal.

Are you saying that illegal immigrants should be left to starve, freeze and die? What about being illegal makes them inhuman?

Should the United States Bishops recall all american Catholic Missionaries from foreign countries?

For that matter, shouldn’t the USCCB also tell all Catholics from foreign countries working on behalf of the Church in the USA to leave here and return to their own countries?

The Catholic Church in Latin America, in Europe, in Africa and here in the US are all the same Church.

Different cultures come into play in each area, but The Holy Catholic Mass is the same everywhere you go.

If you found yourself in another country- hungry, cold, and tired- and you knocked on the door of a Catholic Church in that country, they would feed, clothe, and shelter you. Not because you’re Catholic, or because you’re an american, or a foreigner, or whatever- but only because you were in need.

That’s how the Church is supposed to treat the poor- as are we.

I could maybe understand your frustration if you were referring to the activities of a U.S. federal, state, or local office-

But the Church is not an American organization. It is also very clear about its response to the poor- it doesn’t discriminate based on any kind of national or racial status.
 
I was thinking today about some of my homeless friends and hoping that they are alright.

In actually getting to know people who live on the streets, I think that there is often much more to the story than simple rhetoric often suggests.

There are situations of those who have had homelessness as a way of life for many years, those who may be trying to avoid getting stuck in a nursing home or other institution that they would rather not be in, those with substance issues, those who just prefer calling their own shots in a way that the streets enable. Not everyone wants to be on the streets, of course. Many of the same people who fall into these areas would sincerely like to have some sort of portiuncula. But the complexities of their situation don’t always make that easy to facilitate.

Certainly, I would like for there to be resources enough for everyone in need to receive adequate service. Too often there is overwhelming need and underwhelming assistance available. But I don’t think it is usually as simple as saying that because of where things are directed that others in need lack. Sometimes this might be the case. And anytime anyone misses out on aid that is truly needed this is a great disgrace of society. Frequently, however, things ain’t so straightforward.

Uh… those links do not say that homeless Americans are freezing on the streets because illegal aliens have displaced them from assistance. If you want to be taken seriously, please provide us with a link which backs your claim.

OPEN YOUR EYES. What group of people is most mentioned in that literature? Why is the Church aiding them in particular. And how many of that group are the percentage of the world. It’s smaller than you think. I use the United Nations website for population statistics.

But it does discriminate if the majority of those funds go to groups that promote one specific race.

I have gone over the laws inacted in one town that will no longer investigate as a full American law enforcement agency might have in the past because of pressure from a specific minority groop favored by the Catholic Church in the literature I provided in a link. The law even uses the name of the Catholic Church group as the policing agent of the law inacted. That is the most outragous abuse of law I have ever heard.

When you promote a specific group of people, when you help inact laws that prevent lawful enforcement of federal immigration policy, when that specific group sees that it can dominate the country by using legitamate organizations like the Church for advancing their agenda while eliminating resistance through fear of offending God, you have a Nazi regime with a latin flavor.

The Catholic Church does not dole out aid in a meritocratic fashion.

Can you see Jesus ever telling the Phoenician woman ‘‘Get to the back of the line foreign devil! Theres a Pharisee with an irregular heartbeat behind you!’’

Or ‘‘Whatsoever you do to the most decorated among your war heroes, that you do unto me’’?

The Catholic Church is truly universal and does not aid people based on nationality or ethnicity. Nor should they. Get that through your head.
