But how about saying things we like about other denominations?

For me, though I debate against the LDS Church, I truly respect their staunch adherence to their principals. It would hard to find a denomination that walks the walk more than the LDS Church.

I admire their missionary program, especially having been one.

I admire their family commitment. Things like Family Home Evening should be used by everyone.

I respect their Home and Visiting Teaching Programs. It was always nice to know you people you could depend on in a pinch.

Those are the things I admire about the LDS Church.

Just to clarify, Mormonism is not just another Christian denomination, but is a seperate and distinct religion.

While I abhor their theology and can’t think of any doctrinal beliefs of theirs I would support, I do admire their commitment to family and community, as well as their emphasis on prepping, which most people don’t even know about.

In fact, when people see our family and some of the things we do, they often mistake us for Mormons.

I also admire Calvary Chapel for their commitment to the study of God’s word.

Although Methodist churches that preach the Biblical Gospel are getting harder and harder to find these days, those that do are really doing a great job and I commend their commitment to the Gospel.

Although I strongly disagree with various Catholic doctrinal principles, these are things I admire about the Catholic Church:

-its network of colleges, hospitals, schools, institutes, etc.
-its stance on morality, especially in this ever-liberal country
-its extended catechesis, allowing for more discussion of the religion before baptism and/or confirmation and/or profession of faith
-its churches and cathedrals and very beautiful
