And my picture didn’t show Jews being gassed - it showed them detained in inhumane conditions.
You’re aware many Jews were only detained and not gassed right?
And the reason for that pictorial comparison was to illustrate that people who see similarities between Trump and Hitler aren’t crazy.
What is not fantasy projection is the next steps beyond abortion, which we are seeing right now:
- Selective abortion based on sex
- Selective abortion based on Downs Syndrome status
- Physician assisted suicide
- Loss of parental rights in life / death decisions regarding their BORN children
Next step: Forcing doctors with jail time who refuse to perform abortions. (Note: Washington state is forcing a pharmacist who owns his own pharmacy to carry abortafacient drugs)

My point in posting that wasn’t to say Trump is Hitler (I have studied Hitler in depth - I do not think Trump is anything at all like Hitler, apart from using similar rhetorical devices about certain things)…
It was to say there are things Trump has said and done which when people draw parralels and comparisons between those things and things which happened under Hitler, they may not be being overly emotional or irrational, but in fact pointing out legitimate parralels.
The reason it’s worrisome is because when a politician does things in a way which evokes Hitler, it’s not an impossibility that that politician could end up doing other horrific things reminiscient of what Hitler did.
Hitler wanted to take over all of Europe and eventually the whole world. Trump is an isolationist and doesn’t want America to be the policemen of the world anymore, and if we do, we should get paid for it.
Hitler wanted to exterminate MANY groups of people. He started with the Jews (because he hated being part Jewish), but he also wanted to exterminate the Romani people (and did kill millions), wanted to exterminate the Polish people (and did kill millions). He wanted to kill homosexuals (and did). Eventually, he wanted to exterminate tons of Catholics (he did kill many priests and nuns throughout Europe and tried to kill the Pope). Eventually, I’m sure he would have eventually tried to exterminate Africans, Asians, brown eyed whites, etc.
Hitler and his crew were PURE EVIL.
So every time people compare Trump to Hitler, it really boils my skin, because Trump might be a loudmouth, uncouth, and pig headed. But he’s not an evil mass murderer, bent on world domination and the extermination of Jews worldwide.

As previously stated, the word “Democrat” was never used in any document. Their teaching is based on Church teaching. There are multiple levels of Church teaching: Revealed Truth (requires assent of theological faith), Definitive teaching on faith and morals (requires assent to firmly accept and hold), and non-definitive teaching (requires religious submission of will and intellect). I would recommend you read Donum Veritatis, article 23. What they are writing appears to straddle the second and third levels of teaching.KMC:

Do you have anything from the Pope or an Ecumenical Council or a Conference of Bishops or a Synod of Bishops saying voting Democrat is immoral?
A follow up question: Are the bishops teaching error? If so, can you cite the magisterial document to support your position?

I never vote straight ticket. It depends on the office the candidate is running for and what their platform is. I always vote for a mixture of Democrats and Republicans.
