Hey, i’m italian and i was wondering if they have a special italian rosary. Like the Irish have their celtic crosses and St. Patrick Rosaries. Is there one especially for italians? (i’m not saying that the celtic one is only for irish people or anything though)

Not that i’m aware of. My mom was in Italy last Fall and when she visited the Vatican she bought me a Rosary. She bought my fiance one as well. My mother mentioned that the one she bought my fiance was the most popular type and it looks the same as the ones here in the USA 🙂

Um, I think all rosaries are Italian.

I have an Irish rosary I picked up at a church gift shop, with an Our Lady of Knock medallion, the crucifix on it is a Celtic cross, with “Erin” on the back, and down on the lower half, stamped in little, teeny, tiny letters, is

Italy.

Actually, any time I have ever bothered to check to see where a crucifix was made, they all say “Italy”.

I think a better question would be,

Is there such a thing as a non-Italian rosary.

OK, there is, but I have to make it myself.

Perhaps this might help?

I had a rosary that was made in Portugal. A little different but still a Rosary:)

ANYWAYS! I think we are just babbling along here, nothing wrong with that though 😃

And really, all we are babbling about is the Dominican Rosary. We still have to get around to babbeling about the other Rosaries and Chaplets. I like the Franciscan Crown aka The Seraphic Rosary.

Yeah, one of mine is from Fatima.

I reckon you could make or specially design one for yerself - alternate red white and green beads or something. Have a medal or cross of St Francis of Assisi and/or Our Lady of Perpetual Help or Our Lady of Loreto - all patrons of Italia.
