A priest friend of mine (not my PV) and I got into a friendly debate. He said that because we are not in the Octave of Easter, he doesn’t have to say, “The Mass is ended now go in peace, Alleluia, Alleuia”. Our response is, “Thanks be to God, Alleluia, Alleluia.” I told him that we are still in the Easter Season, so we should still say/sing this. He says no. Who is right?
Of course, he is still not satisfied with the answer to his question on the matter of six and seven candles for the altar.
