Thanks for all continued prayers from my earlier requests. I had surgery 15 days ago to repair a completely ruptured achilles tendon (playing basketball). So far so good, but there are a number of trials involved with this, not the least of which is my immobility. I am hoping they will allow me to walk in a week. And I can’t drive for a while still cuz it was the right ankle.

Thanks, warriors. :knight2: … :o

Is there a reason you can’t drive with your left foot? I broke my right ankle about 5 years ago, and that’s what I did. It took some getting-used-to, but before long I was doing fine left-footed. 🙂 Of course, if you have a manual transmission, that won’t work…

For your continued healing:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

May the Lord encourage you in your time of waiting and continue in the recovery process. May you grow in knowledge of the Lord through this trial. God bless you. He is faithful.

I will ask our Mother and Queen to pray for you and your intentions…

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

🙂 I thank God that you are recovering, and I ask God to help you through the frustrations that accompany your recovery. Dear God, please let it be a time of growth to spiritual wholeness and blessing too! Trishie

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

I had 2 different doctors tell me not to. It is a big liability too. But thank you for your prayers. 😉
They probably tell you that so if you get in a wreck, you can’t say, “The doctor said it was OK for me to drive with my left foot,” and then come after them with a lawsuit. But best to follow doctors’ orders. Hope you’re doing better. I’ll send up another prayer for you. 🙂

I’ll continue to keep you in my prayers too.
