One more time. 😊
Ok, in a perfect world Jesus is back, but until then I’m trying to find where your heart is by seeing where your wallet is.

The premis is the same in that you pay no taxes on your wages. After all said and done you have $4 to spend on something you want to support. I know you all are very generous but limit it to four please.
Mine at least.

Assume there are no personal federal income taxes and you keep everything you earn from a paycheck. There are still state and local taxes applied to products to raise state money for roads and parks, hospitals…, but not your income. All else is currently the same.

You make $100 a month; you put $20 in savings, $20 for your house, $20 for food/utilities, and $10 to your local parish. 😛 (My pastor would love to hear that). After insurance, clothes, a movie the remaining $30 is down to $10. being the generous person that you are, you give it to charity.

The 10 jars below have the following lables. Please place your $ by checking the box you freely give too. What would receive your money in my perfect world?

Why only 4 dollars in your polls? How come you won’t allow us to pretend we are George Soros in your type of threads?
Anarchy would rule because most everyone would give to most everything. Who wants another Soros anyway? He would only vote for one of the choices currently.

I hope I understood the lables correctly…By Catholic Charities I assumed you ment the ‘Catholic Charities’ not just charities that are run by Catholics and by non-Catholic Charities I assumed you ment everything else…

Catholic Charities or Caritas International covers a multitude of needs. They are usually at most large disasters like the Cyclone in Myanmar and the earthquake in China. They were at Katrina and the Tsunami in Indonesia. I recommend them to you. Most of what is donated gets to those in need.

Your first responsibility is to your family, now assuming that all their needs (not the same as wants) are taken care of. Then Catholic Charities is the obvious choice.

This organization reaches more people then any other charity, more $$$ goes to those who need it. CC helps Everyone, not just those of the Catholic Faith.
