Ok, in a perfect world Jesus is back, but until then I’m trying to find where your heart is by seeing where your wallet is.

The premis is the same in that you pay no taxes on your wages. After all said and done you have $4 to spend on something you want to support. I know you all are very generous but limit it to four please.

You have entirely lost me - what are you trying to say with this post?

You have entirely lost me - would you care to rephrase your proposition?
Apparently I am very slow posting the poll before the question gets posted. It happend in the first one I did too.

Was this supposed to be MC? I couldn’t vote on more than one.

small change and bills that are found money (or cleaning out my purse) go into the “lunch money” box, so I can buy an inexpensive school lunch for self or co-workers if necessary, and petty cash for unexpected charitable needs.

Working in Washington, DC, in the shadow of our nation’s Capitol, I walk past the homeless daily. I give them whatever extra I can, and pray for their safety and protection. A modern Lazarus may be among them . . . I do not wish to be on the wrong side of an eternal abyss.

$4 to Alcoholics Anonymous, as we do not accept outside contributions.

I guess almost all of my donations through the year would fall into the “catholic charities” category, but in addition to being Catholic, they could also be described as doing international disaster relief, schools and hospitals in foreign countries, etc. And one non-Catholic pro-life group; there isn’t a category for that at all.

If I just marked all $4 for “catholic charities”, it makes it sound like I don’t care about those other categories, as if the money is just for church building and upkeep.
