You guys, praise be to God, some fun things have been going on at work!
My FH and I work at the same company and as we have developed closer work relationships with others, I have seen God’s hand in things.
It is well known in the company that we have been together for 5 years yet have not engaged in intercourse, nor do we live together. Some people have joked about it or been surprised, but for a few, they responded amazingly.
An employee that has cohabitated with his girlfriend for a number of years took a bold step last month and told her no more sex until marriage. They moved out of their apartment last week.
Another employee told me “I bet you can’t refrain from sex” [for another year until my wedding] and I told him the bet was on. He told me if I can’t have sex, he won’t either. Lol, gives new meaning to a competitive streak.
And someone a bit closer to me at work, the girl who has had numerous tragic situations, is taking a big step back from all guys and going friends only. She has stopped as well.
It is so great! I still have struggles everyday with some employees who have heard about my lifestyle and want to comment on it. There is a girl I work with who gloats about taking the new plan b once a month because its easier than ABC. But I think those interactions are just to get me riled up so I ignore them charitably.
I just feel so happy for these people. Especially the first guy, as he and his girlfriend are trying so hard to do the right thing and they are really in love.
