I think your supposed to pray the Regina Coeli instead of the Angelus during Eastertide which lasts from Easter Sunday to Pentecost.

Remembering elementary school, joyful procession, two by two, across the street to the parish church.
Best student (an eighth grade girl) privileged to head the procession, carrying the wreath of fresh flowers to crown Our Lady before the first mass of the month of May.
In more recent years, I heard of a play that incorporated a representation of this custom. The young actors were impressed that their performance never failed to elicit spontaneous audience participation.

I am saying ten Hail Mary’s a day, and trying to get to daily Mass (didn’t manage today sadly due to a family member taking ill).

Had it not been for my Mom, I wouldn’t have known about the Angelus. She prayed it every day, and so do I.
She left me the 2 pictures of The Angelus and The Gleaners, painted by Jean Francois Millet. I’m reminded of her and my ancestors, who prayed her before me.

Yes, I will place flowers by my statue of Mary in my kitchen. I also hope to make a small crown for her to wear this month. I may also light a candle and sit near her as I say my prayers.

Time to plant the Mary garden!
Our local fire hall has a flower and plant sale every year that begins Mother’s Day weekend and last about 3 weeks. The Saturday before Mother’s Day, our family has the tradition of attending the sale and buying the flowers for the Mary garden and the various planters around the house. I also get planters for my mother/MIL and dh’s grandma. My husband picks up some seedlings for the vegetable garden as well.
We have a statue of Mary that’s about 4 ft high that belonged to my Grandparents. It always had a place of honor in their backyard with red geraniums planted around her by my Grandfather. In the winter, Mary stood in the finished basement where my cousins and I would run around and play when we all got together for holidays. It was quite common for any us to stop and give Mary a hug and/or kiss as we passed by. I’m so thankful my aunts and uncles allowed me to have the statue after my grandparents were gone. I too plant red geraniums around her in honor of my grandfather.
I’ll also be adding a statue of Mary to the center of the dining room table and we will add a Hail Mary to our before meal prayer.

SammyRose is right, it’s Regina Coeli until Pentecost.
Then after Pentecost you go back to praying the Angelus.
I try to pray it every day, unfortunately on this particular day I have managed to miss it at least once as I was in noon Mass and forgot to say it after.

33 Days is a good one to start with. If you are new to Marian devotion, it’s a bit easier to handle than some of the other books about Mary.
You could actually just read MariaChristi’s Mary threads on here when she posts, it seems like she always has nice things to write about Mary.
I also like this old book which is available for free in the Internet Archive. It gave me new perspectives on Mary.

Father Heilman has a nice page on the Angelus and Regina Coeli.
Saying them at the traditional times of 6, Noon and 6 are one of his “seven daily habits” of a good Catholic.
I had to set phone alarms to remind me to say them and sometimes I miss an alarm (like if I don’t have my phone or I sleep through it). In that case I just say it when I think of it or say it two times at the next interval.
