The hourglass is nearly empty. The culmination of End Times is upon us and the Great Tribulation is just around the corner. There are a total of TWO things that you need in order to obtain Eternal Life and Man-Made Religion is not one of them. (1) A Good Heart Condition. (2) An Acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior. We urge those who wish to obtain Eternal Life in Christ’s Kingdom to read the following very important message: An Important End Times Message

We don’t aim to twist arms or convince anyone of anything they aren’t ready or willing to believe as their hearts will ultimately dictate what they perceive to be truth. However, it is also our responsibility to warn those who do not accept this Truth, will face Judgment at Armageddon. For this reason we pray that the eyes and hearts of all who read our message are opened to the Truth whether that is now, or in the near future when our words come to pass.

Sorry, but posting this is against forum rules…

Anyway, you are dealing with Christians here, who have repented and are always making sure they are ready for the second coming…👍 Thanks for your sincere concern, though! 🙂

Prayers and petitions,
Alexius:cool:

Fortunately I don’t belong to a man-made religion. I belong to the Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself…the Catholic Church. I invite Korina to join us.

amen, cestusdei!

You need a heart condition to get into heaven?? If I had a heart condition I would go to a cardiologist, much as I do want to go to heaven.

Good thing I dont belong to a man-made religion then. My religion is God-made 👍

Any reading of western history will show you that people have always believed that the end times are just around the corner.

In the 1600 the Fifth Monarchists believed that they could see in the events of their times the signs from Revelations. It is therefore rather pointless to continue such speculation.

As far as I’m personally concerned, since I’m 48 years old, the end times will probably be within the next 50 years. However they could be as early as tomorrow if I’m next to some idiot on the interstate. As long as I’m ready to meet the Lord whenever I get in my car, I doubt I need to worry much about the rapture.

🙂 LOL and as mentioned on another thread the only *Rapture *I’m concerned about is the song by Blondie.

korina,

are you perchance a jw? just curious. i have some info for you that you might find interesting. have a look at these links right here from CAF. if your not a jw, then you hold some same core beliefs as them correct?

Jesus said, as for that hour no one knows when the end will come, only the Father in heaven knows.

it i best to be prepared at all times. our faith is not man made.
it is handed down to us by Christ Himself.

you might find these links helpful: (please, read them)

do I have time to clean the bathroom and wash my hair?

the end times have been upon us since Jesus ascended into heaven and sent his Holy Spirit upon the Church to guide and protect it. God’s time is not our time. Jesus warned us that we do not know the day nor the hour, and that anyone who claims to have that knowledge is not of God.

Thank God I don’t belong to one of those man made religions that you are referring to. By the way, since Catholics belong to the Church established by Christ 2,000 years ago don’t you think you better go and inform those other guys? Thank you for your concern but we’re ok.

Are you still there?

I know this is an open forum and I applaud that. But I am really getting fed up with people who post and run. I’ve read several threads were people post a message, won’t discuss, won’t consider alternative points of view, issue a few judgemental comments and state something to the effect of how annoyed they are that not everyone here agrees with them. What do they expect? Do these post and run people really think they can enter a Catholic discussion forum and everyone will be queing up to join their religion? I’m sorry if I sound uncharitible, I don’t mean to be. I believe in what Ghandi said. Open to all but swayed by none. Why do people post and run? Why do they post at all if they want no discussion? Why do they want to post here if they do not want to convert or change people’s minds? Why don’ they just discuss as opposed to 'you are all going to die at Armagedon? I don’t expect these people to agree with my viewpoint but I’m willing to discuss to develop greater understanding of other beliefs without the pressure to convert. I don’t understand post and run, sorry.

I about fell out of my chair because I was laughing so hard. I sure love Jehovah’s Witnesses!!! 😛
Seriously though, who believes this garbage? It sounds like a satanic cult.

Yeah, but he also said and I quote, “It might be sooner than you think.” Now where did I read that? Seriously, I did read it. Scared the heck out of me. 🙂 Peace.

Why do future predictions notoriously fail? Because they are not true and this thread is about truth. As Pilate said to Christ, what is truth? The truth is that the message Jesus asked his followers to spread, was that he had risen and was the Saviour of the world, ‘not join us or you’ll be killed.’ Jesus never asked anyone to preach that message as far as I am aware but I stand to be corrected. The truth is also knowing who Jesus really is and St John spends a great deal of time and effort conveying the truth about Christ to us and defending who he was against teachings which said otherwise. The truth also is that if you put someone of any denomination on the spot and ask them outright if they believe that the teaching that God will kill everyone outside their denomination at the end of the world is true, or perhaps more poignantly, an infallible truth, those who are prepared to answer honestly would have to say they don’t know. If the same question was asked regarding those inside their denomination, are they guaranteed life, the honest answer is no. Therefore, the truth regarding an indivduals salvation is best left where it belongs, in the hands of God. Does that mean that denomination does not matter? No, because not all religious teachings regarding Christ can be called truth, and Jesus said that he came into the world to bear witness to the truth. I’m always suspicious of people who say they want to give me life or save me. As far as I am aware Jesus has already done that and I’m not convinced it’s because they love me lots which is what they profess.

Which reminds me, I need to get to confession.
