I still go with the Mayan calendar of Dec. 2012. Not kidding, til we get past that date. The way the world is going, I am surprised at each new morning. All we can do is pray. 🙂 Peace.

Of course we can’t actually see into anyone’s head, but as I was reading your post, and thinking about your question, I couldn’t helping thinking about the old juvenile practice of ringing someone’s doorbell and then running away. As I recall it was called “Ding Dong Dash”? Anyway, it’s just a game. Maybe “post and run” is just the internet version of “Ding Dong Dash”?

A lot of internet blogging is more of a “sport” for some people than an attempt at thoughtful discussion. In this “sport”, the poster scores “points” by making provocative or even inflammatory statements ~ it could easily be called an online game of “gotcha”. Posters who do this not only usually cannot support their statements, they have no interest in doing so, that’s not part of the “game”.
 
This is a hacker, folks. Hit and run. Notice that there is only one post total from this person? They joined this forum for that one post then split. They won’t be back, unless it’s to post the same message again or another one like it. *

I have seen this EXACT same post on a few MySpace forums. Not only Catholic forums but in Protestant and Mormon forums also.
  • on the other forums where I’ve seen this post, they were often followed up by another canned post.

I’m just wondering who gave you that truth? I think I’ve already heard that before in the 70’s or 80’s. It’s 2008 now! Wake up. You must’ve been misled by somebody who himself is a false prophet!
