I especially liked this line:

“Catholicism is a broad religion with many different approaches to worship,” Fr. Borkowski said.

Indeed.

What a wonderful way of bringing some of the PreVatican Catholics back to Rome. I was talking to a Priest who had told me what Cardinal Maida had done and how hard they worked to get everything needed for the Mass.
:clapping: Cudos to Cardinal Adam Maida

I am very happy with what the Cardinal has done. I think that there is plenty of room for the Tridentine tradition for those who choose it. With all of the different Rites that we have, with all of their different Traditions why not the old mass too.

At 36 I don’t even think that I have ever been to a latin Mass, but I would like to go just once to see what it is like. Hopefully if this goes well we will be able to have one in a parish in the suberbs also.

👍

Any word on who the Priest’s will be? The article only said that it wont be the Pastor, and that several Priests are being trained and retrained.

Assumption Grotto does the Paul VI Mass in Latin (no indult required!) at 9:30, accompanied by Renaissance polyphony from its dedicated amateur choir. It’s worth the trip, and it’s a good way to break yourself in in preparation for the Tridentine Mass which is a little different (not much). If you are in the suburbs of Detroit, the Grotto is worth the drive. I understand people come all the way from Toledo every week!

Thank you Mercygate:)

Maybe I will try that one out.
