:snowing: so sorry. I won’t talk about how nice it is here then

You must not be far from me…they’re calling for 10-15 cm overnight/tomorrow morning in the northern GTA and SNOW SQUALLS :bigyikes: :winter: Even driving home tonight my wee car was blowing around. I saw this poor kid being steered around by his mother on the sidewalk b/c he could barely see with his hat and scarf covering his face 😉 What’s rent like in South Carolina??

We had snow a few weeks ago so I can, with a clear conscience, tell you I am happy it is in the 60s here today. It was in the 40s when the kids got on the bus this morning, which was a welcome change from 20s and 30s.

Yes, New Mexico is in the United States.
Yes, it DOES snow in New Mexico.
Yes, we do have winter. Our seasons are: Gorgeous Summer, Balloon Fiesta, Winter, and Wind.
😃

I feel your pain!!! We must band together against the inevitable posters who will feel the need to tell us how positively balmy it is wherever they live, lol:p
Can you send some of that my way? We never get snow down here 😦

HURRAY!!!

Snow is good for my employer (we make coats.)

Waaaahhh? Eeeeeek? over snow? C’mon guys! :ehh:

What’s fresher and brighter than a landscape covered with 12+ inches of snow? 🤷

Bring it on! This Minnesotan can’t wait for winter to begin! :extrahappy:

Give me snow, and snow, and lots of snow, and oh yes, more snow!!! :egyptian:

Traditionally, we get the first blizzard of the year on Hallowe’en night. I am hoping that global warming will cause it to be delayed.

(What is the difference between a Canadian child’s Hallowe’en costume and an American child’s Hallowe’en costume? ANSWER: The Canadian child’s costume is several sizes larger, so as to fit over his snow suit.)

We had our “Halloween Howler” a few years ago, but it is unusual.

The same is often the case here in MN. No one can ever go out in a flimsy costume here, that’s for sure. :yup:

That beats our seasons:
Blizzard, Scorching Sun (aka Construction), and a few weeks in between without snow that we like to pretend are Spring and Autumn. But really are just extensions of Construction. 🤷

I need a ‘throwing tomatoes’ smiley 😛 I haaate winter! I start dreading it in August and whine my way though October - April

Lil, I am in London, Ontario and it’s a whiteout here now!
I total agree with your assessment of the seasons (though really, I’m a huge fan of scorching sun. Give me 85F and humid and I’m happy!)

Ahh London, one of Ontario’s many snowbelts. I grew up less than 1hr from there. But I missed out on the worst of winter until I lived in Barrie for a year. What a rude awakening that was!

Beats ours too: 9 months of winter and 3 of bad snowmobiling.😃

Well, I do prefer the snow to rain. Here in the Portland Oregon area, it rains for 8 or 9 months of the year, October to June.

Right on, and I like it that way :aok:
