It’s snowing! It’s snowing!:D:D:D:D

I know for some of y’all, you’re saying, “Yeah. So?” But where I live we never really get snow – at least the kind that sticks. This is actually forming on the ground. It’s so much fun. Of course, I say that as I’m sitting on the couch looking at it through the window. God bless global warming:D

Thanks, I’m home, but my husband has to drive all back roads home and they are not fun to drive when the weather is good…I’d better check the weather again and see when we are going to get the snow…

Guess I’d be excited too if it only happened rarely. OTOH, I’m sitting in my living room, looking at about 18" of the white stuff on my lawn, 3’ snowbanks bordering the street and glancing at the thermometer which reads - 5º, well actually it reads -22º but that’s Celcius and I translated.😉 For some reason I can’t get excited about the white stuff.😛
 
It first snowed for the year in late November. It snowed last night. I cleaned the garage by myself after I got the girls to the bus stop. The locks on the car door froze, and I had to thaw them in order to open the car to get it in the garage.

Every single bone hurts, and I had Motrin. So, if you guys don’t mind, I am going to bed early.

Snow is part of why winter is my favorite season. Especially walking through a snowy forest. Even my house looks much better in the winter with the snow.

Sorry, but I’d also rather snowblow then mow the lawn.

I think it’s beautiful, but if I never have to drive in it again that would be just fine by me!

Send some of that warming up north, please. It was 3 degrees F this morning. I don’t like that!

I have wool socks on, snuggled in my flannel pjs, and shivering. Not liking this very much…
 
:winter: that’s me without the snow! I had all the snow I needed for a life time when I lived in ND! Now, the little we get I am happy for it to be gone before noon! Now it did snow here yesterday, and yes, I was driving in it - no big deal as I learned to drive in ND in the winter, snow like Phemie was talking about!

Sorry Nanny, enjoy the snow because you don’t get a lot of it - I fine with out 👍.

Bah Humbug.

I live in ND… we’ve had snow off and on for awhile now. Last spring, it was still snowing in May. I really REALLY dislike winter.

Aww I’m glad you like the snow 🙂
Even I’m all enamoured by the first snow of the year and I’m the biggest snow grinch ever. Give me 85 degrees and humid and we’re in business! We’ve had snow on the ground here since early November and I’m quite sick of it 😛
Only 5 months to go…:rolleyes:
 
THat’s good for you I guess.

In Chicago it can look like that right after Halloween. Not all the times, but it is certainly possible.
