As far as I know, Brandee is taking some time away from forums because of some harassment she has received on Phatmass and her blog. She posted a video on YouTube saying that she was going to wait a year before making any decisions since she doesn’t feel ready yet. However, she sounds like she is fully at peace with the decision. 🙂
 
Well, that’s awesome. But it IS the Order she feels called to?
 
Yes I am going to go back there when the Lord tells me but I know and God knows I need a little more time. But yes the harassment has been getting really bad I think I am going to take down something I mean thats just how I feel becasue of this One Parson.

B, I think it is for the best that you close the blog down. It would be good if you didn’t post so much. Sometimes people believe that if something is public then they have a right to speak whatever they want. It is not doing you any good to have to listen to that garbage. The only way you can stop her is to get rid of anything she can right on.

Honey, I also say this in the spirit of love, I think it is best that you not post so much about your discernment. The internet is a dangerous place. Everything and everyone can follow you around and harass you to no end. This bullying is dangerous, too.

Do what you can and get rid of the blog. I’ll be praying for you.

Indeed, God bless you just for being you, CarmeliteGirl93. Good advice in this thread.

I read Phmss now and then and the harrassment endured was very cruel. Stay strong and journey wherever God wants to take you, not where another may think you should be going and what you should be doing or not doing etc. What you should be feeling or not feeling, how you should be being or not being.

It is not at all unusual and in fact a real delight to share in the excitement and joy of those considering religious life at some point. It is a joy!..even if it is only cyber sharing. Joy is one of the fruits of The Holy Spirit.

It has been said more than once that it is those that God desires to draw very close to Himself that He asks to suffer in some way. “As gold is tested in fire, so the servants of God are tested in the crucible of suffering” (Proverbs 17)
