Congratulations and God bless You.

I will keep you and the many others who have listened and answered ā€œYesā€ to God.

Servant of God Frank J. Parater

Loving Father, Your servant, Frank Parater, sought perfection as a student, scout, and seminarian. He offered himself to You completely through the Sacred Heart of Your beloved Son, Jesus. Through the intercession of Frank Parater, may young people answer Your call to follow Jesus as priests and religious. Grant the favors I seek, so that Your Church may recognize his holiness and proclaim him Blessed. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Imprimatur: +Walter F. Sullivan, Bishop of Richmond (February 7, 2002)

another update I have been enrolled in the seminary so now all i have to do is wait till the 20th, and get a few odds and ends when it comes to supplies.

You never mentioned your friend, Did he get in too? I sure hope so. I hope we all have a good year!! Scoob.

That is wonderful news! I will remember you in my daily prayers. God bless!

no he didn’t unfortunately don’t know details though.
That rots. I know the feeling I have been through that mill myself. I hope he don’t give up and finds a diocese that will accept him. My heart goes out to him and will pray for him. I know the feeling as I have been rejected before. it is not the end of the world as my friend who is a priest was rejected 12 times before finding a diocese that accepted him. I am so sorry. But there is hope there really is and I am living proof that there really is hope. God Bless Scoob.

Wow. Praise God, that’s awesome news.

I have to admit, it made me smile with joy for you and at the same time, makes me jealous!

As a man who often feels like I may have ā€œmissedā€ a calling, reading about how you were told that you were accepted sounds like one of the most exciting, satisfying, blessed moments I can imagine! šŸ˜‰

Pray hard! Study hard!

In Jesus’ name…

I hope you make a holy priest who can bring many souls to Christ.
