I've Got A Catholic Counselor Now - Getting The Help I Need

Well everyone, I know you all have been wanting me to get the help I need and I have finally grown fed up with my flip flopping so I called a favorite priest of mine (the one that confirmed me) and asked about Catholic counselors. He told me that there is a couple that comes to the parish each month and he connected me with the lady in charge of the counselling services. I signed up and will go for my first appointment tomorrow.

Some good news is that I probably won’t have to pay more than $1 for it since I have very little income. I’m pretty happy about that.

So yeah, I am finally getting some help that I have needed for a long time and maybe I can finally put an end to this flip flopping that I do.

I dont know what you mean by flip flopping, but sure I will pray for you and of course this is good news!

I am very excited, even if I dont know what the struggles are you are enduring, this is a good step forward in handling them.

Also, happy to hear the cost will be so low! I think fears of cost do keep people from getting help, and thanks to this thread some will be encouraged to check into getting help now too!

You may be helping more people than you realize.

Thank you for your response and thank you for your kind words. What I mean by flip flopping is switching from one religion to the next within days of each other. I have had a habit of doing that ever since I converted to Catholicism.

I will pray for you—I know how it feels to search for the right counselor, so I am happy for you that your search has come to an end—isn;t it good to feel some hope? No more flip flopping, for Your happiness will come from* within yourself—search inward*----not outward. You will do fine—I am counting on it!

Thanks to both of you for your kind responses. Hellisreal, it is a very serious problem that I have. I am hoping that the Catholic counselor will be able to help me.
