Howdy folks! Please could you tell me if you know of an internet site where I can LEGALLY watch the Star Wars films from the beginning to last episode? I’m going to switch between these and some reading up on saints. Any help would be appreciated as this is an itch I must scratch and a craving than cannot be endured (one fine day there will be a Star Wars emoticon available for use in such urgent circumstances as these).

Thanks for the link. More into just watching the films tbh than viewing the extras. Though if people are into collecting things then Star Wars would be a must.
The first paragraph gives multiple providers for streaming the movies, even if you don’t care for the extras. I am not a huge fan of all the extras, either. You don’t have to watch them, though I can see why they are an attraction to hard-core fans.

Will have another look. Probably quite cheap to view the lot in a bundle and if paying to do so will probably be decent quality viewing.

Film details can be interesting, as you say. Come to think of it, I used to own a set/costume drawing production book for S W and it was amazing - the artists that drew the storyboards and the backgrounds and all the other production details are very talented people. I have watched the extras on animation films before too as the drawing side is always jaw-dropping in terms of skill-level.

👍

Hi Friar D Chips,
Hope you are not going to watch them all in one sitting!

That would be 6 films in a row!

Other awesome film series:
After that you could watch the Hobbit Trilogy and then the Lord of the Rings trilogy,

And don’t forget all 8 Harry Potter films!

Just bring a large popcorn!

Did this already with LofthR. Watched the last film first so then when reaching the first I’d feel like watching it through to the last again. Made it back the other way about half way through Middle Earth but then found the hobbits nauseating.

Used to commit mammoth watching with ‘24’ and also with ‘Smallville - The Early Years’. Have done it with SW before and feel the time has come to do this once more.

After ‘Fast and Furious 7’ has come out will probably do the lot at some point while mixing the salt with the sweet popcorn and having a festival of a time 🍿

Not something one could do with Bond though. Not consistent enough.

If there was a new series worth renting on DVDs would go for renting them. Maybe something religious so as not to be wasting time.

I once dragged my Mum along to see LOTR(theatrical cuts) in one epic Movie Marathon session at this heritage listed theatre about the summer of 2005…

www.astortheatre.net.au

It was awesome. Lasted about 12 hours including 1/2 hour breaks for lunch and dinner. That was needed anyway so The cinema could load up the reels for each film… This was pre-digital era. First and only time I’ve seen the trilogy in one hit!

Actually the history channel’s “Mini Bible Series”, is brilliant! Its available on Dvd

Also they made an “AD series” also,

Both religious and really cool. 🙂

Awesome! That theatre looks to have so much character. Nice you took your mum out too, btw.

The “mini-Bible” - was that the one that was on TV about a year or two ago? Might look into it. Could do with some religious inspiration. What was the AD series about - something to do with Rome?
