God is not a She, but a He. Jesus address God as Father not Mother. For us, Catholics. Mary is our spiritual Mother because through our baptism in Christ, we have been adopted sons and daughters of God. Jesus is our brother.

“Mother, Can you hear my pray?”

Adopted? No, we are her children.

You are not a servant of God, but her son or daughter.

(2) Bible have to be read with reference to history because some of the names and places mentioned inside have symoblic meanings.
(3) Bible is a journal of the conversation with God.
