So here’s my situation: I’m a senior in high school and I have been discerning a vocation to religious life since 6th grade and I know that the one thing I love most in the entire world is my faith and I would love to be a bride of Christ and have the deepest relationship with him that I can. However, there is a catch: I have bipolar disorder. Now, it is well-controlled on medications and I have not had a severe episode in years. If I am mentally sound and have been for a very long time, is there a chance that I might be accepted by a community?
Thanks!

Yes. Talk to a religious order for more information.👍
