For a Baptist, kissing and caressing only leads to one thing: dancing!!!
Dear Goodness, not, dare I say it, disco!:bigyikes:

I’m not too familiar with the attractions of the sexes, but being attracted (in my understanding of the word) doesn’t mean lusting. Lusting would lead to the immoral sins. Who’s to say same-sex attraction is of the sexual sort? Could not a woman be attracted to another woman of imeanse wealth or power? If merely for procuring favor and such, I daresay this attraction is not of the sexual sort.

The only issue, as many have mentioned, is wheather extended universe fluff counts as what was really there.

And I tell you if they had some good decent nuns at that school there’ld be none of this magicing nor kissing! More nuns! :nun1: More yard sticks!:knight1:

You’re not familiar with attractions of the sexes? Are you asexual?

And, let’s face it, we know what Rowling meant when she said that Dumbledore is gay.

She didn’t mean he appreciates the company of other men.

If I say it enough, maybe it’ll come true:o

Precicely, and therefore the books have sexuality tossed in them. Or do they, as it wasn’t in the book? Or was it in the book?

Or did she? She said he was enamoured with Griswald, or Grimwald, or whoever. Sounds to me Dumbledor is more befuddled and such than he is homosexual. Maybe SHE doesn’t know the definition of gay, mabey she said gaye?

sigh

There’s no homosexuality in the books, and that is what should matter to you.

Rowling meant Dumbledore is a HOMOSEXUAL.

You think maybe she was saying he’s related to Marvin Gaye? That makes sense!

I always suspected that his wand bent to the left. Don’t worry too much about this story. When the news about the Golden Compass breaks (by counting every 6th word in Chapter 66, you come up with the opening benidiction to the black mass), no one will even remember who Dumbledore was.

The Golden Compass will make Scientology look like the Methodist Church.

Is that a good thing?
Neither good nor bad. But I’m surprised that N. Kidman is in it, since she’s supposedly Catholic.

In any event, all this controversy around The Golden Compass has just made me more interested in seeing it.

Nicole Kidman is Catholic. She even went to the extent of getting her marriage to Tom Cruise annulled before marrying her current husband. Like me I suspect she had never heard of the books (golden compass)and thought ,she was getting involved in achildren’s fantasy film. If her only exposure to the books was the script she reviewed she would should have no ideathe turn these books take. Even if she had heard criticism of the bookGolden Compass) it is likely she would dismiss it as the same kind of overwrought hysteria we saw with the Harry Potter movies and books. That was my initial reaction .

That seems to be a pretty fair assumption, barring any evidence to the contrary.

Nicole Kidman has stated that she doesn’t believe the film is anti-Catholic. Apparently, the film is less anti Church than the books.

Why am not surprised with JK Rowling??

This just proves that many real Christians/Catholics have known all along.

Jk Rowling and her Harry Potter series is evil, immoral and totally anti-family and anti-Christian.

And now we know JK Rowling is also anti-marraige and pro-homophilia.

I wonder what the pro-Rowling and Pro-potter Christians/Catholics would say now.

People who support Rowling and her evil books should be ashamed of themselves.

Rowling is just another anti-Christian homophile coddling liberal fanatic.
So I suppose actually reading the books would be out of the question then…You don’t have to like it, but really, calling fantasy books evil when most of it is stuff saying that “Harry, your mother saved you with her love” and “Love is the greatest power” really just stops you from claiming it is evil. And as for magic, I thought we agreed this was fiction? Do you think magic works by just shouting words in Latin? Excuse me while I laugh myself to tears!😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃

I think it’s ridiculous that Rowling said Dumbledore is gay. I’ve read all seven of the books (they go way down hill starting with book 6) and I think she just did it for some kind of activist political stuff. There’s nothing in the books that would make anyone think Dumbledore is gay. So I just say, he’s not…no matter what the stupid author says. And also…who cares.

You might want to take a hop over to the “Ask An Apologist” forum. There, one of the apologists has answered a question about Dumbledore being “outed”.

I’d put a link, but I"m not sure how to do that.
