For the amount of lies they spread, I think they either do not believe in God at all or are possessed.

Has anybody ever wondered why somebody, like a Catholic or a Catholic organization, doesn’t sue Mr. Chick for libel? It would be an open and shut case…

I think no one sues because every lawyer knows that they would lose. It is libel, but libel against a public figure (and certainly the Church is a public figure) is nearly impossible to sue over. Why do you think the tabloids get away with almost everything they say?

Chick Tracts!!! Wow, I didn’t know they were still around!!. When i was a young man, yeah, way back then, and in the service, Navy, sorry, we used to love those things. Not having a lot of money we travelled by bus and bus stations always had a lot of those things floating around. They sure made those bus trips enjoyable. Back in those days the Jesus freaks used to hand them out. I don’t think anybody ever took them seriously, and laugh, man did we ever get a good laugh out of those things.

They should be required reading.

I have a large collection of chick tracts including some hard to get ones. They are collectors items. I use them in class. The kids get angry and interested in how their faith is villified. They have the opposite effect that Jack intends.
