I am sure many people on here have heard of Jack Chick and his anti-Catholic tracts as well as other tracts that don’t follow his faith-only dogma. Well, in the past, the person that ran www.jesus-is-savior.com seemed to be a total backer of Jack Chick and spouted out as much venom as he on his website. I found this particularly funny that now he is adamantly against Jack Chick because Jack thinks repentance is part of salvation. You can read his whole diatribe here at the link I have listed below as well as a few other things that this website owner has added to his most-hated list. Would love to get some feedback on this. I would expect nothing more and nothing less from Protestants. More than 500 years have passed and they are still contradicting the Scriptures. Each denomination proclaiming they have the “correct interpretation” of the Bible, leading to further splinter groups. I doubt they truly understand what it means by “a house divided will fall”.

This is what happens when people with no Authority start interpreting Scripture and designating themselves as an unofficial pope without even realizing it. It probably took some of the followers of Martin Luther about a week to not agree with one of his doctrines and splinter off from him as well. This is what happens when you break off from the church that Jesus established; nothing but anarchy and chaos. Jesus’s final prayer was for us all to be one as He and the Father are One. I wish that prayer could have been answered for all time instead of the first 1500 years.

Yes - that site appears to be very anti-Semitic (as apposed the Jesus-is-savior site which is anti-everyone). However, the historical quotations are indicative of what many believed at that time. For example, Martin Luther wrote one of the most anti-Semitic pieces I’ve seen coming from that era; and he was not alone. If you wish (strictly from an historical standpoint) you can check out his work entitled “On the Jews and Their Lies" 1543. I don’t think we are supposed to post URLs, but you can Google the title. It’s really terrible. :crying:

I’ve already read The Jews and their Lies (in the original German as well as in English translation). Luther, however, was just one person. And he received all of his formative education in the Catholic religion, as an Augustinian. So one might say his views on Jews came from his Catholic training.

But as I said, even putting that aside, Luther was but one man in a vast sea of Roman Catholic historical enmity toward Jews. The church’s treatment and words about Jews far surpass anything Luther said in one volume, you have to admit that.

Note: I’m not trying to bash the RCC here, just state things in their proper historical perspective.

I would have a bit of a problem with that comment, because I am a supporter of the Neturei Karta’s views on zionism (even though I do not always approve their tactics.)

At one time ALL Orthodox Judaism agreed with them on zionism. Some of the most revered rabbis of Jewish fame spoke out against zionism.

I just wanted to make sure you understood that. To this day most Chasidic Jews are not zionists.

The sad thing is that jesus-is-savior.com is pretty much just a mirrored site of www.jesus-is-lord.com with current articles because the woman that owns jesus-is-lord.com isnt on the internet anymore…maybe some men with the white jackets took her away lol

I dont know anybody that could fully believe that garbage anyways. How can you have faith in somebody that believes in their interpretation of Jesus and at the same time knows exactly the “truth” why 9/11 happened! lol Makes you feel a lot better being in the church that Jesus established instead of one of the ten of thousands of denominations he could be a part of.

The funny thing is he hates Catholics with a passion but believes that we should only stick to reading a Catholic book the Bible; most specifically the KJV 1611 Bible…I bet his KJV only has 66 books in it unlike the original KJV 1611 which had all 73 lol He’s a loony tune and somehow thinks he’s doing the Lord’s work. Indeed it is…Just ask a Protestant when they interpret a verse. Under what Authority do you know that interpretation to be correct and how do you KNOW that interpretation is correct? If they’re honest, they’ll just say something like I don’t know it to be correct for certain and I can feel the Holy Spirit telling me this interpretation is right. The only problem is what about the other thousands of denominations who feel the Holy Spirit telling them a different interpretation of the same verse? lol
