No idea. Reading a little of this reminds me he did a rewrite of Hodgson’s THE NIGHT LAND, a book that could certainly use a little rewriting.

I think I’ll order one of this trilogy.

And I think I’d like to read his Master’s thesis.
 
I detected a little Lovecraftian vibe, too. That dinosaur may as well have tentacles. I’m going to start this trilogy. Birthday’s in just over a month anyway - I’m sure the wife won’t mind if I treat myself to just one gift in advance…
