agreed and exactly so and the problem is clearly stated at Lk.16:8 and the remedy or answer by our first Pope in his epistle “Be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks”.Unfortunately neither the warning nor the advice has been heeded - twinc
I really did try to give an answer though… The answer is - it is Dogma. The Truth is -Catholics must preach it! The “warning” and “advice” has been heeded.

Dont you agree?

I mean if Catholics want to discuss it further, that is fine… But Catholics should never attempt to convince others to believe in ideas that the Church has stated as false. we MUST preach the TRUTH. So by all means, discuss as you will. 🙂

But I also know that people can question things and research things. One is supposed to conform ones conscience. To do so, one needs to educate oneself, and sometimes that education can come in the form of questions and even doubts.

God Bless,
Maria

P.S.
Just to be clear, I personally have no doubts whatsoever as to Mary being ever Virgin. But I did research it a BUNCH. I personally love the typology of Mary and the Ark.
Maria, thanks for making me clear on that… 🙂 I hope you continue your research - I mean, I really dont want to ruin the thread, but you know ?.?.. 😊

I guess I got a little too over-protective again.?.?.? 😊

You’re right though, I have questioned the Church on one particular subject in recent times, and am still troubled by it to this day. In time, if God wishes it so, I will learn the answer…

God Bless.

sure, sure, fine as far as it goes but not far enough for there are other situations and others around us who are not Catholics and have no concept or acceptance of dogma and alas and sadly a recent and very reliable research/survey revealed alas and shockingly and surprisingly that of the 2/3rds of Christian youths that fell away from Christianity the greatest numbers fell away from amongst those who had had the the most and best Christian (name removed by moderator)ut - see my post on this forum on Catholic Evangelists - twinc
