"In more bad news for Sen. John Kerry, “Hanoi” Jane Fonda is once again stepping into the media spotlight, promoting her new book, “My Life So Far,” and explaining that Kerry lost the election because he came across as “a wimp” and a “girlie man.”
Fonda bankrolled Kerry’s anti-war protests during the 1970s, and last year she tried to help him by registering as many women as possible in her “Vaginas Vote” campaign.

In a preview of what’s to come as her book tour hits the TV talk show circuit, Fonda discussed her life and times last month at the “Girls For A Change” conference held at Montana State University…"

Before too long the former actress got around to the subject of Kerry’s defeat.

In quotes picked up by Bozeman, Montana’s Daily Chronicle, she complained: “Men who show compassion or try to make peace are ridiculed as ‘girlie men’ or, like John Kerry, as wimps.”

Gosh, it’s good to hear from Jane again. Her wisdom has been missed. I really feel like it’s short-sightedness on the part of the IRA/Sein Fein and the Unionists that they haven’t called her in to cobble together some workable plan for Northern Ireland. And can you imagine the magic she’d work in the Mid East! Say, Hagia, what’s her take Anglican Orders? Yes, yes, I know what Leo XIII said, but he’s not a patch on Jane, now is he? I bet she’d iron out all the pernicious bickering between HHJPII and the SSPX. Why won’t the world recognize this incredible woman’s talent? Thank God she pops up every decade or so…you know, to remind us herself.

Also (and I’m sorry), I have some questions about this:
  1. Do the vaginas have to register and vote seperately? If so, who drives them to the polling place?
  2. What would a woman do if SHE was a Republican, but her VAGINA registered as a Democrat, or a Green, or a Libertarian?
  3. If a woman and her vagina MUST vote together on each politician and/or issue/referendum, doesn’t that mean that we men are disenfranchised, like, two to one? That’s hardly fair, I must say.
  4. Can a vagina run for President? What if the vagina was born on foreign soil or is a naturalized citizen?

Well Jane has gotten richer, Janes’ gotten older, but Jane apparently hasn’t gotten smarter.

How many serious, thinking and educated women did she think her campaign" would gain for Kerry? And they wonder why their candidate looked like such an idiot. :irish1:

You know, if men called it the Vagina Vote, Fonda and her buddies would have all been screaming. How degrading to be called that especially by another woman.

Had any Republican echoed it - they would have been pilloried. Jane ought to stay with her jumping up and down to bad music videos.

Let’s keep Hanoi Jane in the spot light. I hope she gives Hillary all the support she can. The liberals just don’t get it that they lost the election for Kerry.

John Kerry is a wimp because he doesn’t stand for anything. He claims to be pro-life but then says he does not think we should make abortion illegal. That is a sissy if I have ever seen one.

What happened to Jane’s flirtation with Christianity?
Last quote I saw (some time ago), she said," I don’t have time for that stuff anymore."

Fonda has me confused…

Wasnt the whole “Liberal Feminist” agenda supposed to be that women are MORE than just their “Vaginas”?

When ever someone mentions Jane Fonda I always think of her laughing and yuckin’ it up with the Viet Cong sitting in an anti aircraft gun that was used to shoot down our pilots. She is a disgrace. Any smart politician would be smart to avoid her endorsement.

I think if she is smart she will stay out of politics. She is not going to help anyone’s cause.

I have heard of Ms. Fonda being accused of many things–being smart isn’t one of’em.

But prepare yourself, she is about ready to go on tv flogging her book so we will all be treated to Katie I’m sure interviewing her.

Shakespeare was correct; a tale told by idiot, full of sound and fury and signifying nothing.

BAHAHAHA! No kidding! I work with a Vietnam vet who said that he (as well as many of his fellow soldiers) think she should have been tried for treason when she conspired with the Viet Cong and her actions resulted in more torture for our MIAs. HMMMMM all these liberals are so worried about torture. What do they have to say about Hanoi Jane’s contribution?

As to Kerry, yes he came off as effete, vain and a “kept man” The whole image was to me, incredibly repulsive.

Well Jane knows the feeling of that kind of husband remember (in the pre Ted Turner days) good ole Tom Hayden? He ran for various offices, could not get elected dog catcher and finally got Jerry Brown to appoint him to something or other. He recently offered his “organizing” services to the protestors and flew to NY to help them make signs and march when the Republicans came to town. All togther a useless bunch, fueled by Hollywood money and fringe wannabees.
