Ok Before I Start I just would to Say I’m African American Myself So I hope I’m not been Racist here But I Notice Every JW I’ve ran into have been African American’s I’m sure there’s Other Races & all but The Ones I have came Across so fare are African American even the 2 Ladies that Knocked on my Door A few months ago Were JW’s & were Black Women I’ve yet to Run into A Person thats None-Black & JW …LOL

I’m like Is it me Or I’m the only that are running into Mostly Black JW’s then again Could be my Community Which are A mix of Races & people But are Working class citizens .
 
I’m like I know there has to be Other races besides Blacks within The JW Cult , I Just think I just so Happened to Run into Black JW’s .

But even as A Kid When JW would knock on Our Door it would be 2 Black ladies & thats been like 14 or 15years ago , I’ve moved & My Community is of A Mixture of Black , white , Asian, Mexican/Latino ect ect & still I’m seen black JW’s .
 
This is ironic considering that in a early Jehovah’s Witness publication says this about black people:
"The negro race is supposed to be descended from Ham, whose special degradation is mentioned in Gen. 9:22, 25. (From: Zion’s Watch Tower, August 1, 1898, p. 230)

Exactly & some were on YouTube there’s JW Video that states the Same thing & I find it Ironic too .

So why are there Black’s in this Cult ???
 
here too , come to think of it, maybe they make them do the dirty work. They are very nice ladies tho, very pleasant I might add, I chat a few mins with them but they know I’ll never convert as I told them there is no way.🙂
 
Arround here the JWs are mostly Latino who have been proselitized away from the Catholic church.

When they see I don’t speak spanish, they walk away and leave me alone.

Could be Possible , but I find it Funny that On YouTube There was someone who Posted up A TowerWatch JW Confrence & there were Mostly Whites at the Confrences But When they come to your Door its Usually 2 Black Ladies with Bibles & TowerWatch Booklets …LOL
I Just Find it All Funny & Ironic & A Little Strange I may Add .

See that’s the Thing I never seen Any other Race Besides 2 Black ladies Knocking at The Door as JW’s , I would like to see Something Other then African American’s .

I Think I’ve only seen 2 Whites as JW’s doing The Door 2 Door Services & that’s been like 7 Years ago Maybe even 9 years ago …LOL
 
Might just be a regional thing. I’ve never met a JW who wasn’t white. But I’ve only met about three so it isn’t much of a sample (they don’t seem very active in these parts).

Could be Nine_Two , they could be doing Regional thing with JW/TowerWatch Because even Back were I’m from even There I only Saw Black Ladies doing the Door 2 Door Services & then I moved here & its the same way …lol but here they also don’t seem very active neither cause the 2 ladies that came to my home told me they would be back later & I’ve never seen them since & that was about A Month or 2 Months ago so I don’t think they’re very active here .

But back home Every Sunday They seemed to come , But here it’s like You see them every Once in Awhile .

Same with Mormon’s I don’t see them at all , But back home as A kid every Saturday or Sunday the same 2 guys On bikes would come through ,

That’s odd compared to my experience of meeting only Non-White Jehovah’s Witnesses. O_o

Same Here Every Jehovah Witness I’ve meet Or were friends of the Family were Non-White People My Granny had lot’s of Friends & some were Black & JW’s.
 
Shooot I haven’t even met A Asian or Latino JW in my life , Its always been Black JW’s that I’ve Came Across Including The Door 2 Door services that I’ve never Seen A Non-Black lady or Ladies doing Maybe Once I’ve seen 2 White Ladies But thats been many many many years ago .
 
Which is why I made this thread Because I’m like I wonder if anyone else Notice that when you run into A Jehovah Witness They’re Black people , I’ve yet to meet A Non-Black Jehovah Witness .
 
I know plenty of white JW’s including my mother, my siblings, and other business associates. However I will say the majority of their congregation seems to be black or Hispanic. My understanding is their Hispanic community, as is in the Catholic Church, is flourishing.
 
I have heard there are a high number of JWs that are African American, but I’m not sure. Interestingly enough, I am having an on going discussion with an African American man who is a JW. I’m trying to gently coax him to read some early church history with me.
 
You know, I live in the Coachella Valley, And I’ve never seen a black JW. Hispanics and Whites. Most hispanics are former catholics. Oh yeah, also my best friend (he’s white) marriend a hispanic woman who is JW. I knew something was up when he all of a sudden stop calling me to hang out. Oh well.

See I’ve never seen A White JW …LOL its very Rare that i’ve met one .
 
I have opened the door to many JWs, but with the exception of two, all I remember were white. It is likely that you see whatever ethnic groups happen to live in your area.
