Yesterday, a yong girl stopped by the business where I worked and wanted to leave an Awake magazine for anyone to read.

I handed it back to her and said we were not interested. This is the first time this has happened at work, and was wondering if this is something they usually do besides knocking on people’s doors.? Thank you.

Just put a sign on your door that says no soliciting.

Already have one at the main entrance. I was just surprised they came to a business.

Then they are breaking the law and you could inform them of that. I find it surprising as well that they came to your business. Sounds like someone a little behind on their monthly quota trying to catch up.

Thanks for the information. She looked like she was about 18.

First time coming to a business, but I have seen them marching up and down, with their Watchtower and Awake at the ready, at the main downtown bus transit station here. :D:p

Personally I welcome JW’s and Mormons when they come knocking. I invite them in and tell them about the true Gospel. I do it charitably. I do listen to them.
They almost never come back. strange that.

My Community, the CFC, have ots of members who are former JW’s, who have converted or reverted to catholicism. My own local group included. I am personally talking through a number of issues with one man who’s wife id Catholic He is not. he was a member of the JW’s.
He’s seeking the truth. Our group are helping him in that search, and I sincerely hope we can bring him home to Rome.

I have seen those magazines left in the laundromat. I helped the staff clean up when that happened.

I have found thier littreture in all kinds of places, fast food outlets, barber shop’s, secound hand book shops, thrift stores, all over the place.

Did you see any with a fox? or with a mouse? Did you see any in a court house?😃

We don’t get proselytizers here in San Francisco. I guess they figure we’re all hell-bound Sodomites anyway 😦

Seriously though, the only Jehovah’s Witnesses I’ve seen go around with Spanish literature and specifically only in our heavily Latino district, and all the Mormons seem to have strictly Chinese speaking missionaries. 🤷

I’ve seen them in Bali offering “Learn to speak english while discovering the word of God” Pamphlets in Indonesian and English.

Yes, we do business witnessing too.
Jesus foretold the “good news about the kingdom” would be “preached in all the inhabited earth” before the end.
So we pretty much try to contact people anyway we can. Calling on peoples houses is a good way to try and give everyone an opportunity to hear what we have learned, but lots are never home these days. 🤷
Therefore (if we are brave enough) we will approach people on the street or call at their place of work. Sometimes telephoning or letter writing. (Imagine if we had something really important to tell people and we gave up after trying them at home a couple of times.) 😃

How did you know all your work mates were not interested in what the Bible says?
