are they the true religon. i know some people are going to bring up their past.i want everyone to answer honestly.every religon has made mistakes.we cant deny that.other than their mistakes in the past, whats wrong with them, now.ive noticed, when it comes to them, everyone brings up their past mistakes.now there are pretty major.but they have been also in other religons.i do not agree with a lot of their issues.but i just like everybody to look at it in the now.just like to know what everybody says,when they do that.my own opinion, i think their is two, guys we should look up and no one else. we know who they are.i think sometimes we get wrapped up in our own religon,and down things that are different.and not of our own. we cant respectfully, respect one another. now dont get me wrong,when i bring this up with them…they said what all you guys are about to say.sad i think
 
Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets and false messiahs.” The Jehovah Witnesses constantly make false prophecies in regards to Jesus’ coming, saying He will come then or there. But Jesus said, “No one knows the hour or the day of the coming of the Son of Man.” And furthermore, God’s Name is not Jehovah - “Jehovah” is an English mistranslation of the four Hebrew letters which are God’s Name: YHWH. The Jehovah Witnesses believe it’s JHVH.
 
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society broke off mainstream Christianity after two men with very little background slowly developed a doctrine based on their thin knowledge of the languages and context of the Bible. They have built the idea of their special status as “God’s organization” on a foundation of false prophecies.

whoa, mark,thats not what im saying,ive been ,looking at what a lot of people and different forums have said. and, what im saying is that a lot of people bashing , and not debating.i do agree, so far with ,what everybodies is saying so far.and like i said i do have some issues on what they believe, and how they believe it.just my gut feeling, and what i know to be true.and lie a lot of people said , sometimes arguing with them is a waste of time.but, what ive noticed is that no one has had a healthy debate or at least tries to respect on another.
 
First of all they ARE a false religion. They accuse everybody else (especially the Catholic Church) of being a “man made religion with man made laws”. The Catholic Church was founded by Christ and theirs by a man, sorry forgot his name. They say all other churches are pagan. Birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Christmas trees are all pagan. Jesus is really Michael the arch angel. The Devil was in heaven up til 1914 when he was finally kicked out. There is no hell at all, there is no soul. When a person dies and is not good enough for heaven he just ceases to exist. Jesus did not rise from the dead, only his spirit body did. Now, they have been teaching garbage like this for years and years and I wonder how many souls were lost because of them. Now I did not bring up anything in the past, these are all current teachings, at least for now as they are always changing. I need to say that they believe that only their bible is correct, all others are corrupt. As far as the blood thing, they got that wrong too because, since they are not guided by the Holy Spirit and they are a false religion, the bible says “nothing is forbidden”. They will not come on this forum and debate. Actually, I can not think of one redeeming quality of that false religion, not one.

I’m guilty too, sometimes. Its usually a reaction though.

I have never gone to a non-Catholic forum to make accusations or be disrespectful. And I have a hard time understanding why anyone would.
 
JW’s are a cult. Try and challenge them with certain questions and they have no answers. Catholicism is the faith established by Christ. One church, one shepherd, one flock, the Catholic church.

hi yes, we shouldnt outta bring up past mistakes(murder, torture) of religions. we should sweep them under the rug and act like nuthin ever happened.

also note how the “g” is not in uppper case.

they do not believe Jesus is God. how does that argument go where if you don’t accept Christ as Lord, then you must be left to accept that he and his followers were liars or insane.

JW’s should not consider themselves “Christians” for they do not believe in the True Jesus revealed in history. Their name speaks for their belief’s, they are witnesses to a mispelled word of Yahweh, that should state alot about their unchristian belief’s. I have no problem with JW’s even though they dont believe in the patriotic duty to defend our freedom during War times. But I do find them the most anti catholics walking the streets today. If they could just lay off the anti catholic rhetoric in their witnessing and let their own belief’s stand on their own, and allow JW members the liberty to at least read outside literature Christian teachings without having to be condemned or removed from their community for doing so. They might change their doctrines again for the better this time.
 
Born and raised JW, and in my opinion you are dealing with a cult.

The JW’s Follow a group of MEN that have there headquarters in new york, They DON’T follow the bible. They follow scriptures that seem to support what there leaders teach.

If you are Jw youu believe.
Christ is only an angel, Michael The Archangel.

The Holy Ghost is an impersonal force.

Only 144,000 people will go to heaven, and all the other faithfull will turn the earth into a paridise.

Charitable organizations should not be the focus, because the final
Judgment is near.

Gods personal name is Jehovah, and it WAS in the bible untill Christendom took it out, then JW’S
Restored it and put it back in the bible.

No Hell.

All churches and religious groups, outside the JW’S is Babylon the Great world empire of false religion.

so here you see that they believe very differently.

Also I do not have to bring up the past. I worked at there world headquarters a few years ago.
People give up there lives…homes…marriage…etc
To dedicate there lives to God serving at the world headquarters that they call bethel.
These people are not paid for there work, However they get laid off…or told to go home when bethel is done with them. I did not have any money, no home, no Job,no anything when they did it to me…and knowone cares.

If you don’t believe me, I can verify it because there headquarters is “Getting Rid of” Thousands of people, and doing it in this bad economy.

I can give you the number to there headquarters, do a confrence call
and see if they care about me or any of there staff that served them.

Then you judge if the JW organization is Christ like. This is how they treat people in the present not only the past.

. God is not a Trinity; the doctrine is inspired by the Devil
2. Jesus is not to be worshiped or prayed to-he is only an angel (a.k.a. Michael the archangel)
3. Jesus Christ is a “created being,” who at one time did not exist
