Ahh well this is all stupid really lol I mean you all know that gods name is Jehovah so why not use it because in the Holy Scriptures he says that he wants us to know his name.

Yes but people do not they say we are unworthy but we are not and well I want people to know that you should all call him by his name not lord or god because they are titles.

It also says in the bible that we should not call priests farther.
So why do catholics and cristians who go to church call there priests farther and you are supposed to get baptised like Jehovahs witnesses not in the church and it also says in the bible Jesus died on a stake not a cross want proof on all of this read the Holy Scriptures the ones that include Jehovahs name would be a good choice.

You mean the rewritten scriptures that added the word “a” to the beginning of St. Johns Gospel? According to your version of scripture, the Word was “a” God.

As for strange, the fact that it changes scripture by adding and removing words to reflect JW’s everchanging doctrines is all that needs to be said.

The earliest manuscript that calls the Catholic Church by name was written in the year 107A.D. St Ignatius. Look it up.

Um, point of fact. Henry VIII started the Church of England (well started the ball rolling. It was schismatic before it was declared a separate church). Henry wanted a decree of nullity in regards to his marriage to Katherine of Aragon so he would be free to marry Anne Bolyen, who had schemed to marry him. Henry was a bit of a womanizer.

The Catholic Church was started by Jesus in 33 AD.
Jehovah’s Witnesses was started in 1874 by Charles Taze Russell. How can a man-made group such as the JWs claim that it is from God when it came on the scene so late? And that they have the truth and nobody else does?

OK, the word catholic means universal. The Catholic Church is not a sect but rather all of those who are in Christ are of the Catholic Church. Pope Benedict even went so far as to say that the only requirement to be a Christian is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and God, (heard that on EWTN) but that only those of the RCC have the full communion. As a protestant I respectfully disagree.

However, your notion that Henry started the Catholic Church proves only that you know nothing, and those who write the pamphlets you hand out are only trying to dupe those who also know nothing.

You say read your Bible but you don’t have one and the fact that you would prop up this ludicrous idea that YHWH is pronounced Jehovah just proves that you have never studied.

The word Jehovah did not even surface until the 17th century and it was an amalgamation of two words. YHWH and Adonai. The vowels of adonai were put into YHWH to give those unfamiliar with Hebraic pronounciation the ability to say the word.

I think the whole name of God thing with the JW’s and 7th Days is just about the silliest thing I have ever heard of. In an attempt to appear orthodox they give out these impressive things like this idea of the name of God and dress themselves up to appear genuine, but these ruses allow them to stay away from what is really important; salvific faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and submission to Him that we may stand in His righteousness before a holy God.
