They take Acts 15 out of context as they do just about everything.
The Council of Jerusalem was about a small group of Jews who were complaining about the Gentiles not adopting the religious traditions of Judasim. They were making such a stink about it that Peter felt the Council had to do something to calm the waters. The judgement reached was a compromise.
“We should merely write to them to abstain from anything contaminated by idols, from illicit sexual union, from the meat of strangled animals and from eating blood.”
Notice in verse 23 the letter was sent to only three places, Antioch, Syria and Cilicia. These were the only places under this order as it did not apply to the whole Church. Much as a Bishop today would send a letter to his flock which would be binding only on his parish and not the whole church.
This group of Jews were known as the Judaizers and the letter was only to placate them. In about a hundred years the last of the Judaizers died and with him died the requirement in the letter.
The bible does not forbid any food or drink. “A man of sound faith knows he can eat anything, while one who is weak in faith eats only vegetables.” Romans 14:1-2
“The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating or drinking…” Romans 14:17
See also 1 Cor Chapter 8 and 10. “Everything created by God is good and nothing is forbidden” Can’t find that verse.
The bible makes it very clear that we may eat anything, including blood.
