I would love to start a thread on this but people here would just turn it into something bad 😦
But it is alright when someone disrespects me? And there have been hoards here? That’s ok?

Im sorry you have been disrespected but we usually get what we give. Two wrongs dont make a right.😉
If we show love and restraint we receive the same:(

Maybe you could PM me and tell me your testimony. I would love to hear it. 👍

If someone told me they had an epiphany from God, I would be **extremely interested **in hearing more about it. The fact that the vatican faxed me at my hotel in Rome, was good enough for me.
I had a gift that can never leave me. that is why I am protective of any non-Catholic, Jew or Muslim berating Jesus Christ. Some talk as if he is the guy next door. Do you understand now? I know for a fact that God exists. It saddens me for others to think otherwise.
I have always been faithful and believed in God, but this epiphany sealed it for me. I don’t know why he chose me…I just don’t know why. I am a sinner like everyone else. That is why I sometimes feel like Jeremiah…I am spiritually exhausted.😦

English is not my first language; so pardon me for that. I have no clue what epiphany from God is.

Also, if you like others to listen to you, you should listen to them more than you expect them to listen to you.

You can’t expect people to be extremely interested in your experience because it’s a private revelation. I tend to believe you because of your zeal and the fact that I’ve had this too. And like you I was zealous for God even before then. But the experience does not make you an authority on all things holy-far from it. And it does not mean that we are even close to being perfected in the love and humility God desires for us. Your experience has a purpose which is probably yet to fully unfold and will influence your life until the end but it’s also a “carrot” God uses to draw you nearer rather than a confirmation that you’re doing everything right. It’s a very big deal but you’re still way too impressed with it and knowing the Church I have a hard time believing the Vatican invited you just so you could edify the Pope and receive confirmation for your revelation. I’m not being insensitive to the experience. If it’s the real thing then it’s very personal, very awesome, and, as you related, one must be very discerning with how they share it. But St Teresa of Avila and St John of the Cross had many such epiphanies and yet they said to not be overly attached to them. Use it, grow from it, glorify God with it, but realize there’s still much to learn and a long way to go before we love anywhere close to the way God does.

Here’s one of my favorite verses:

"This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds."
Hebrews 10:16

I should of used the word “locution” instead of epiphany. Sorry, my priest clarified that for me. And I am sorry you don’t believe me when I tell you about the pope. If I knew how to download pictures on here, I could show you them.
I wrote to the vatican 2 months before heading out to Rome. when I arrived at my hotel, there was a fax waiting for me. I was thrilled it was from the vatican saying I can have an audience with the pope. So I had to take the letter and go to the “green door”. Present it to the secretary there and he gave me the two passes.
Why is that so hard for you to believe? Oh well, it was a great experience to even receive Mass and the Eucharist at the vatican.
And to see my beloved pope right in front of me. 🙂
 
Whether a locution or an epiphany it’s all incredible stuff! As far as your audience with the Pope goes you’re right-I can’t judge any of that but I guess it’s hard to understand how it confirms things for you without knowing the details- but that’s none of my business. In any case it’s an interesting story and I’m sure Gods’ got a plan for it all. Peace. 🙂
