Jesus 2nd coming during a time of huge wickedness ? ( Matthew 24:37–39)

Antediluvian period means literally, “before the flood” is that correct ?

Men began to call on the name of the LORD” Genesis 4:26 during this period of time and there was also much wickedness on earth way to much. Enough for God to be disappointed.

Matthew 24:37–39

Jesus alluded to the antediluvian period when He predicted signs of His second coming: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man”

Or am I miss-understanding the scripture?
 
Hello Blimp , so am I safe in thinking all this wickedness in our a society around the world is supposed to happen or perhaps must take place. To fulfilling the Lords own prophecy ?

So as to speak … He will have seen enough wickedness and on his return , regenerate a Holy Kingdom on earth where by wickedness will be defeated for eternity.

Without destroying earth like the great floods did ?
 
Yeah, it seems things get pretty low, and then He comes. This is how the Catechism sums it up:

676 The Antichrist’s deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgment. The Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism,577 especially the “intrinsically perverse” political form of a secular messianism.578

677 The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection.579 The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of the Church through a progressive ascendancy, but only by God’s victory over the final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven.580 God’s triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgment after the final cosmic upheaval of this passing world.581

Christ said to St. Faustina the after the time of mercy, comes judgement.
Fatima was a warning; along with many, many other apparitions. Our Lady has told the visionaries at Medjugorge that this is her last time appearing on Earth.
JPII added the Luminous Mysteries to the Rosary( why ask for illumination/light unless we’re surrounded by darkness? That’s my thought anyway).

So now I truly understand why Jesus in those crucial last moments as a human being said … Father Forgive Them for They Know Not What They Do.

It all makes sense.

Precisely. And we know not how much worse this world can get either, and that can be a scary thing to consider.

There has been wickedness for the past 2000 years and not only in our times. No it is not worse now but rather only more known due to technology and communications.
 
When the false prophet comes this will be the final battle on earth.
