That is, a particle is either there at one point (when we observe it) or its position is spread out in a wave over ALL space.
That is, when not observed, all matter will be thought to have a position that can be described as a wave probaility SPREAD OUT OVER ALL SPACE.

The logical positivist view is not the current view. ‘Observation’ is in reality conscious knowledge. The word ‘observation’ was first used by Quantum physicists because they were in a scientific community of your Logical Positvist framework. As the article states, they knew that the way matter behaves is not in accordance to positivist theories. Go back and read the quotes i posted from Heisenberg and Bohr earlier. The system changes whether we KNOW or not KNOW, whether measuring tells us or doesn’t tell us a particles position.
Now look up Logical positivism, that is the exact philosophy you have that your link is telling you is not compatible with STANDARD quantum mechanics and has become unfashionable.
