No, His nature never changed, nor is it changeable. God exists outside of time so we cannot say that something happened before (or after) some event. For God all things are happening NOW. Thus it is fair to say that the incarnation is always taking place as is His death and resurrection. This is why, in the Mass, we are able to be present at the foot of the cross for His crucifixion.
Right but we can say that He was a baby, child, teen, and adult, for that matter you can say he was a fetus, and zygote. We also know thqt the resurected Body was (approx.) a 33 year old mans body, Even when he ascended. Popular thouhgt would have us believe that He is still that way. While there may not be time, for God, there is for us. Just look at the salvation story. there is creation there is DNA, and there is the “development” of His human nature. Now, being that He is fully God and Fully human, was He that way before the incarnation, before creation?
How could He be Incarnate before the Incarnation since to become incarnate means to take on flesh?
Yes, the human nature that Jesus assumed went through those stages – but Jesus remains as he IS. As I said, God exists outside of time so we cannot say that God changed, although from our perspective there was a change. The incarnation took place in time from our frame of reference, but from God’s it is always happening.
Like I said befoe, I understand that God is outside of time. But we are in time. and from our perspective Jesus Came into human flesh at a specific point. Before that point He was not a pysically the same. (right?) 33 year old resurected Christ is a different physical nature than a burning bush. And While God created time, he worked within time throughout history, He even became subject to it as He was developing as a Child into a Man. Either way, from our perspective, something changed about God’s nature or manifestation when His Glorified Body Ascended.
