At the Last Supper Jesus said that He would not drink of the fruit of the vine again until He drank it in His Father’s House. Do you think there is real food and drink in Heaven. Is Jesus in a physical form in Heaven and all the departed souls are in spirit form?

no. we all will have a physical form in heaven. we believe in the resurrection of the body, not in the soul only. we will have perfected forms of flesh in heaven. i imagine there will be food and drink in heaven.

All departed souls - other than Mary and apparently Elijah, Moses, and possible Enoch - are currently not in bodies, but at the end of the world they will receive their Resurrected bodies.

actually Jesus rose from the dead and his disciples touched his physical body. Couldn’t this mean that in heaven he is also there physically but in a different kind of physical realm?

Jesus is in Heaven physically, yup.

Listen to a CD by Scott Hahn titled, “The Fourth Cup”. He gives a really good interpretation of what Jesus meant from the cross when He said He would not drink of the fruit of the vine until He came into His Fathers Kingdom.

It is very thought provoking to say the least.

I found some commentary that is a bit deep for my pea brain but, everyone else will probably understand it.

The vine represents the Synagogue, according to Isaiah. The vine, or the vineyard of the Lord of hosts, is the house of Israel. Of this vine Christ drank for some time; and though many of the branches were becoming useless, there were yet many that still brought forth fruit. But Christ now going to His passion, declares that it would be no longer acceptable to Him, since the figures were now to pass into reality.

If there was only more I think I could see things a bit clearer. If anyone can find more on this verse ( that is, if this is the verse in question, if it isn’t, my bad ) I would be interested.

I believe this is a verse used by our separated brethren to try & prove the Eucharist is just saltines & welches.
