I just finished reading an article that states that Jesus Christ name isn’t being said or mentioned much in the media much less in a reverential way. I thought to myself, that’s correct. TV. programming rarely mentions our Lords name and I found that to be true on news channels as well. What’s going on here?
Duck Dynasty’s Phil: ‘We’re Swimming in a Cesspool of Politically Correct Crap’

Even if always mentioned positively that would be problematic. Which denomination’s interpretation is correct? Would you accept the Him being described as your pal who just wants you to be happy? What about the various “prosperity” gospel? And that’s before dealing with the non-christian faiths. It seems to be problematic except for a few outlets.

The media constantly hammers on the fabricated “separation of church and state.”

But, since they so rarely mention church, do they see themselves as an arm of the state?

In the UK, the BBC is the state run media. Anyone wanting to watch television has to pay the government a fee, even if they do not watch the BBC. It is subsidized further from our tax (so even those who do not watch TV pay for it). The BBC isn’t is impartial or professional, it is a political arm of the government.

The Catholic Church’s ‘interpretation’ is correct, because it was founded by Jesus Christ. The other Christian denominations are also correct in identifying with Him, but they are splitters who have left the true Church and are now falling into error in attempting to curry favour with society. This will ultimately tear them apart and cause further splits.
And that’s before dealing with the non-christian faiths.
The non-Christian faiths are more like cults worshipping a particular saint or spiritual leader than true religions. For example, in most cases where prophets or saints have spiritual experiences they always put great emphasis on Jesus Christ and not themselves, because it is usually the former that is the source of these revelations. In the case of Mohammed, founder of Islam, he had an antipathy towards Christ. Therefore he is a false prophet and Islam is a cult, nothing more. It is a warped version of Christianity. It is Muslims who are the infidels. This is why the question of discussing non-Christian religions openly and honestly cannot even be considered in our politically correct world.

Best wishes,
Padster

yet it still is a worthy subject. Jesus Christ’s name is rarely mentioned in the media and the ten commandments are being removed along with prayers in schools and public offices. And in some of our Catholic schools crucifixes are being removed for I believe political correctness. We must find a way to bring back Christianity from our self inflicted annihilation.
