Jesus Christ Radio Show again

Although I posted once before on this radio show, I am getting more and more disturbed by it. The man calls himself Jesus Christ and he refers to himself as the holy host.

There is nothing on the radio when I drive to Mass, so I listen to the show. Today a woman called in and said she had a problem with jealousy. “Jesus” told her what are you jealous of and she stated that her boyfriend sees other women.

He told her that she shouldn’t be jealous and that is why he is seeing other woman. I think the correct word is he is a womanizer.

She thanks him for being with her and he replys that he is with her always, inferring that he is in fact God.

I can’t believe that people actually buy into this stuff. Also it is an outrage against God the Father and the Son.

Do you feel my reactions are too strong? I have never been drawn to cults and have a mind of my own, but it appears that there are so many who follow a man and get some really bad advice.

Yes that is blasphemous, but it is the price you pay for living in a society with free speech. Complain to the radio network though and see if that gets you anywhere, although first and foremost just don’t listen, the more listeners the more they can charge for advertising, the more profit they make off of this program.

Ok, common sense here Bernadette. Stop listening to this show! It is utter nonsense and even for kicks it could effect you spiritually and sounds like it is already disturbing you. Say a rosary on your way to Mass or say a chaplet for conversion of souls in your area. Turn this garbage off.

if you object the place to complain is the network and station that carry the show, and the advertisers

I read, or heard somewhere, back when he was doing the show in Los Angeles a few years ago that the guy who does the show is a non-religious Jew. Makes sense doesn’t it? Maybe I should start a show, “Rapping with the Prophet Abraham”, or “Kosher Talk”… nah, bad idea, just like this show.

It would be bad enough if the guy was trying to be “funny” but as I recall he plays it straight and actually tries to advise his gullible callers. Bad taste, bad theology, and yes indeed blasphemous, but since only Christianity is still left on the table for making fun of, these guys got to make a buck somehow…that won’t get their head chopped off.

Thanks for the replies. I didn’t realize that listening would help his show out. I guess I am just curious about what others actally believe.

I will not listen to the show again. I wish there were more Catholic radio shows on the air in my area, but the only one they had has been removed several years ago.

I just saw a “preacher” on television who was offereing a special blessing to those folks who would send in $1,000 or more. $500 didn’t cut it. These guys are everywhere and probably more dangerous (more subtle) than the lunatic you’re taliking about.

I agree with the others. Turn it off.
