**Jesus: Christmas’ Heart
**
Jesus is the heart of the Christmas season,
The greatest gift and the ultimate reason,
Why we celebrate Christmas with such splendor,
Because born is Jesus Christ, God our Savior.
Some want Christmas a secular holiday,
Denying the Lord to whom we do humbly pray.
They want the focus on gifts, parties and food
And mentioning Jesus Christ ruins the mood.
We celebrate Christmas as our God Jesus
Became man born of a woman to save us,
Coming to save us from our sins out of love
To help us one day live in Heaven above.
Jesus desires us to love Him from the heart
Wanting to unite with us never to part,
To share our entire life with Him totally,
Sharing His and our love with all whom we see.
Hearing Christmas should invoke thoughts of Jesus,
How he loved us so much he came to save us,
How he became man and on the cross he died,
How he rose so we can become sanctified.
Christmas is empty without Jesus central,
Filling us with His love to love one and all,
Being the center of our lives Christmas day,
Sharing all our love with our close family.
Jesus is Christmas and Christmas is Jesus.
Thoughts of Jesus during Christmas should fill us.
Out of love from single cell to man he grew
To redeem us from sin and our hearts renew.
Celebrate Jesus when Christmas is mentioned,
Remember His birth and the good that He did,
How much Jesus loves every one of us,
And whenever you hear Christmas, thank Jesus.
