Jesus denied being God in the bible and the Quran

This explanation is pretty good, but there is one slight detail that needs to be correctedd.

Jesus is essentially a man and essentially divine. In the homousious the human and divine nature are found by a hypostasis. Both natures are present in Jesus. These natures never blend. Each keeps its essence distinct from the other, without duality, meaning that Jesus is not two persons in one either.

He 100% man and 100% divine.

The rest is fine.

we do not believe that Jesus is “only” God. This was a heresy that spread very early in Christianity and it was refuted as heretical.
Jesus is the Word of God that took flesh. In other words, Jesus was both a human being ( who eats, sleeps, cry, laugh, die ecc), and divine. In the Bible you find the 2 natures of Jesus. So The Word did not exist because of Mary. The Word (Jesus)existed always but the Word “became” Jesus ( that is, took flesh)at the incarnation. So when you think of Jesus, you immagine the man Jesus, but Jesus essentially is not a man. People and Saints who see Jesus in visions for example , either see Jesus the man, (the way He walked on earth), or Jesus as a very strong light.

that’s why you will find Jesus the man and Jesus the divine in the Bible. We can’t quote one sentence and base our theology on it. Hope this clarifies a bit.

PS: we do not associate partners with God as the Quran is saying in the aya you quoted. Jesus is not God’s partner

And yeah you can’t confine God to what He can and can’t do.
He wants to go human, who are you to say it doesn’t make sense?
I find that the very first responses were an extensive list of Jesus claiming He is God, yet I find it that you only say there are verses where he denies it, yet you haven’t really posted adequate references. I would add more but I feel there are more capable members already answering.
