Jesus Died in 3D

I just want to know what happen to jesus in 3days after he died? In “Our Father” prayer said he desended to hell? Is there any verses that he decended into hell?

(wrong subforum-should be in Sacred Scripture, and I think you mean the Creed, not the “our Father”.)
 
When I read “in 3D” I thought they had produced a 3D version of “The Passion of Christ” :ouch:

We do know that he opened the gates of heaven to all holy men and women of the past who dwelled in the Limbus Patrum, and that he descended into Hell that they may witness His work (the theology on both of these elements is quite profound and, obviously, based on Scripture).

This is what was always emphasized in my Catholic upbringing. “Hell” was to be understood as the general abode of the dead rather than the way we usually think of it now which is the place of eternal punishment.
 
In the first place i thought that there is a connection in the sign of the cross because 1, Father 2. Son 3. Holy spirit. That is why he need to die because of this three :D.
